CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in tnef. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted file containing uncompressed Rich Text Format (RTF) data. Because the application fails to properly validate input buffer boundaries before copying data in get_rtf_data_from_buf(), reading beyond the allocated memory occurs. This flaw can cause the application to crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS), or leak sensitive memory contents into extracted output files.
MQTT WebSocket setter ABI mismatch may disclose memory or cause a crash
Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway rejected certain configuration settings, but its validation did not recognize every form in which they could be supplied. An authenticated administrator could potentially use an unrecognized form to have a file of their choosing written to the gateway and executed, resulting in code execution as the gateway service account.
In JetBrains YouTrack before 2026.2.19197 reDoS attack was possible via mailbox regex mail-rule filters
LiteLLM contains a weak authentication vulnerability that allows an attacker holding a valid JWT from the configured identity provider to authenticate as any existing user by exploiting an email-based fallback lookup in the JWT authentication flow without verifying the email_verified claim. Attackers can present a token with an unverified email address matching a victim's account to inherit the victim's role, including proxy_admin privileges, and permanently overwrite the victim's stored identity binding to retain persistent unauthorized access to administrative endpoints exposing API keys and user management.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.25beta4 contains an improper input validation vulnerability in the labelled-VPN NLRI iterators of the routing service that allows an unauthenticated on-path attacker to crash the BGP service by sending a malformed MP_REACH_NLRI UPDATE message with a prefix-length value below the minimum valid for a labelled-VPN NLRI, which passes validation while describing a route with a negative-length address portion. Attackers can repeatedly send a single BGP UPDATE packet carrying a VPNv4 or VPNv6 NLRI with an out-of-bounds prefix-length to indefinitely hold down the BGP plane, causing session termination without a NOTIFICATION and triggering a service malfunction on the device. The fix is carried only in 7.25beta4, a development build; the current stable release 7.24.2 and the current long-term release 7.23.5 both remain affected.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.24 contains a heap memory corruption vulnerability in the userspace SMB daemon that allows remote attackers to corrupt adjacent heap memory by supplying a crafted uniPwdLen value in the SMB1 SessionSetupAndX handler. An attacker can send a malformed SMB1 request with a uniPwdLen field that triggers an integer underflow, causing the resulting value to be used as the copy length in a memory copy operation into a smaller heap buffer, corrupting adjacent heap memory.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.23.4 (long-term) and 7.24.2 (stable) contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mtget binary's TFTP RRQ builder function that allows authenticated users to crash the mtget worker process by supplying a URL path of 507 bytes or more to the /tool fetch command; the first write outside the 528-byte buffer occurs at 505 bytes. Attackers can trigger the overflow by issuing a fetch command with a crafted tftp:// URL path, which causes an unbounded rep movsb instruction to overwrite saved registers at a deterministic offset, crashing the process without requiring a reachable TFTP server or elevated privileges beyond read-only group membership.
Dolibarr 24.0.0 before 24.0.1 contains a case-sensitive denylist bypass vulnerability in the sqlfilters API query parameter that allows authenticated attackers to recover protected database fields by supplying uppercase variants of denylist-protected field names. Attackers can exploit the case-insensitive database column resolution against the case-sensitive denylist check in the core library to use prefix-matching predicates as a boolean oracle and extract full password hashes for any user account, including administrators.
Roo-Code through 3.54.0 contains an auto-approve bypass vulnerability in the shell command parsing logic that allows attackers to execute denied shell commands by exploiting the omission of the bash pipe operator from the command parser's operator token set. Attackers can craft a command line with an allowlisted prefix followed by the stderr-redirecting pipe operator and a denied command, causing the parser to approve the full pipeline while bash executes the denied component with the agent's auto-execute privileges on the developer's machine.
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to sanitize terminal control characters in file metadata printed by the info command. Attackers can craft malicious files containing escape sequences to repaint terminal output and forge verification information displayed to users.
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to escape attacker-controlled key_id values printed to stderr during decrypt auto-detection. Attackers can craft encrypted files with malicious key_id containing escape sequences to repaint terminal output and forge authenticity verification blocks.
openssl-encrypt (pip package, versions <= 1.4.8) fails to sanitize filenames read from untrusted drive data (outside the AES-GCM authenticated manifest) before printing them in the verify-usb command's output. An attacker can plant filenames containing terminal cursor-movement and erase-line control bytes that repaint a forged PASSED verdict on screen, masking actual tamper detection. Fixed in 1.4.9 by routing drive-derived names through sanitize_for_display().
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to sanitize recovery-slot metadata in the desktop GUI, allowing attackers to inject control characters and line separators into the irreversible-removal confirmation dialog. Attackers can craft encrypted files with malicious slot identifiers containing bidi overrides or line-separator characters to forge warning text and deceive users during file removal operations.
rConfig Core 8.0.0 before 8.2.10 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to self-register accounts with full Administrator privileges due to a duplicate bare Auth::routes() call in routes/web.php that re-enables the POST /register route after it was explicitly disabled. Attackers can register a new account that is immediately authenticated with Admin-level access because the registration controller does not assign a role and the users.role column defaults to Admin, enabling access to stored device credentials, user data, and API token issuance.
GNU Emacs before 31.0.91 contains an integer overflow in the PBM/PPM/PGM image loader that allows an attacker to leak heap memory contents by supplying a crafted image with large dimensions and an elevated max color index. The image loader multiplies image dimensions and channel count using signed integer arithmetic; for sufficiently large values, the result wraps to a negative number, bypassing the bounds check and causing the pixel reader to access heap memory past the end of the allocated buffer. The over-read contents are interpreted as pixel color values and rendered on screen.
Expat through 2.8.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by processing XML with external entity parsers created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate. A struct size mismatch between ELEMENT_TYPE members causes storeAtts to read the attIndex member past allocated memory boundaries, resulting in failure to normalize whitespace in non-CDATA attributes or a wild pointer dereference causing a segfault. This vulnerability was introduced by the fix for CVE-2026-66046.
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain a plugin sandbox bypass vulnerability where the PluginImportGuard blocks a different set of modules than the AST analyzer's DANGEROUS_MODULES set. Attackers can bypass AST analysis through string obfuscation or encoding to import unblocked dangerous modules like sys, shutil, multiprocessing, importlib, and pickle for arbitrary code execution.
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain a logging bug in restore_hidden_modules() that logs module counts after clearing, always showing zero restored modules and corrupting audit trails. Additionally, a race condition exists between module hiding and import hook installation where another thread could re-import blocked modules in multi-threaded environments.
Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers.
