CVSS v3.1 |
| The net/url package does not set a limit on the number of query parameters in a query. While the maximum size of query parameters in URLs is generally limited by the maximum request header size, the net/http.Request.ParseForm method can parse large URL-encoded forms. Parsing a large form containing many unique query parameters can cause excessive memory consumption. |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From 1.75.0 until 1.75.1, the serve S3 streamed multipart path in cmd/serve/s3/multipart.go passes attacker-controlled contentLength to multipart.NewRW().Reserve before reading request-body bytes. waitForTurn admits the current part and one oversized part when the buffer is empty despite --multipart-streaming-buffer-limit, and lib/pool allocates 1 MiB pages according to Content-Length or X-Amz-Decoded-Content-Length. A network client can retain or multiply these reservations without sending the declared body, exhausting process or host memory or permanently blocking request handlers. Anonymous S3 deployments require no credentials, while deployments using auth_key require an accepted S3 key. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to drain the fee-payer wallet through concurrent sponsored payments, denying service to legitimate payers once it is empty.
MPP.Methods.Tempo.FeePayerPolicy enforces its ceilings (max_gas, max_fee_per_gas, max_priority_fee_per_gas, the worst-case gas_limit * max_fee_per_gas <= max_total_fee budget cap, and a validity window) against one transaction at a time, and nothing accounts for exposure across concurrent requests. reserve_hash_atomic/2 is keyed on the transaction hash, so it prevents duplicate broadcast of the same signed transaction but not N distinct sponsored transactions carrying distinct expiring nonces. Committed sponsor exposure is therefore N times max_total_fee, bounded by nothing in the library, and the default 900 second validity window lets co-signed transactions stay broadcastable and uncounted for that entire period.
This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.12.0. |
| A flaw was found in polkit. A local user can exploit this by providing a specially crafted, excessively long input to the `polkit-agent-helper-1` setuid binary via standard input (stdin). This unbounded input can lead to an out-of-memory (OOM) condition, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the system. |
| Chroma 1.5.9 fails to validate maximum bounds on HNSW index parameters max_neighbors, ef_construction, and ef_search in collection-create requests. Unauthenticated attackers can supply arbitrarily large parameter values to exhaust server memory and cause denial of service during index compaction. |
| SiYuan before v3.8.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the unauthenticated /api/system/uiproc endpoint that accepts and retains attacker-controlled process identifiers without size limits or authentication. Attackers can send repeated requests with unique identifiers to exhaust process memory and degrade service availability. |
| The PartEventHttpMessageReader in Spring WebFlux does not enforce the maxPartSize limit when maxInMemorySize is set to -1.
Spring Framework 7.0.0 - 7.0.8
Spring Framework 6.2.0 - 6.2.19
Spring Framework 6.1.0 - 6.1.28 |
| PocketMine-MP before 4.18.0-ALPHA2 fails to rate-limit mismatch type InventoryTransactionPacket requests, allowing attackers to trigger excessive inventory synchronization. Attackers can send numerous mismatch transactions to force the server to transmit large amounts of serialized inventory data, consuming significant bandwidth without authentication. |
| Previously, a channel registered in the mux's chanList is not usable until it is established. A malicious peer was able flood the channel's incomingRequests, deadlocking the entire connection. Now, we add an atomic established state, set when a channel becomes usable. Until such a time, handlePacket drops every packet other than the open confirmation/failure, without blocking and without tearing down the connection. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Reyrolle 7SR5 (All versions < V2.70). The web server does not properly limit or manage system resources when processing a high volume of concurrent HTTP requests. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the entire device to crash and reboot, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. Versions 10.3.0 through 12.1.1 did not limit the amount of GZIP-compressed data read when decoding a FITS image, making them vulnerable to decompression bomb attacks. A specially crafted FITS file could cause unbounded memory consumption, leading to denial of service (OOM crash or severe performance degradation). If users are unable to immediately upgrade, they should only open specific image formats, excluding FITS, as a workaround. |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. In versions prior to 4.1.132.Final and 4.2.10.Final, a remote user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) against a Netty HTTP/2 server by sending a flood of `CONTINUATION` frames. The server's lack of a limit on the number of `CONTINUATION` frames, combined with a bypass of existing size-based mitigations using zero-byte frames, allows an user to cause excessive CPU consumption with minimal bandwidth, rendering the server unresponsive. Versions 4.1.132.Final and 4.2.10.Final fix the issue. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| A allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.6, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions may allow attacker to denial of service via <insert attack vector here> |
| HCL MyXalytics was affected by Potential DOS Vulnerability. It allows users to input data without any restriction on the number of characters which can impact system performance or availability. |
| SAP Approuter does not sufficiently handle certain requests under specific conditions. An unauthenticated attacker could send specially crafted input that causes the component to crash and restart. Successful exploitation requires specific runtime conditions to be met, making the attack complex to execute. This results in a high impact on availability. There is no impact on confidentiality and integrity. |
| SAP Approuter does not enforce sufficient flow control in certain functionality. An attacker with low privileges could send high volumes of data without consuming responses, causing unbounded memory growth. This results in a low impact on availability. There is no impact on confidentiality and integrity. |
| Robots::Validate versions from 0.3.2 before 0.3.11 for Perl allow unbounded outbound DNS queries per validation via a forward-confirmation loop that does not bound the names it queries.
_check_dns issues one PTR query for the client address, keeps the returned names matching the rule's domain, and issues a forward query for each until one resolves back to that address. Nothing bounds that list, and a client controls the reverse zone for its own address, so it chooses how many names the PTR answer holds. Net::DNS refetches a truncated answer over TCP by default, so the 512-byte UDP payload does not cap it either.
Any client whose User-Agent matches a rule with a domain reaches _check_dns. Each forward name is distinct and client-chosen, so every query misses the local cache and is resolved against the authoritative servers for that domain. The queries are synchronous, so the caller is held until all of them answer or time out. |
| A client may send a WebSocket frame with an unknown opcode and a very large declared payload length, causing Jetty to attempt a large memory allocation and potentially exhaust the JVM heap.
This occurs when auto-fragmentation is enabled, as unknown opcodes bypass the normal maximum frame size handling and payload allocation occurs before the opcode is validated. |
| PocketMine-MP before 4.12.3 fails to limit unauthenticated sessions, allowing attackers to exhaust player slots by creating sessions without sending LoginPacket. Attackers can flood the server with unauthenticated connections that occupy max-player slots, preventing legitimate players from joining. |
