| Omnissa Horizon Client for macOS contains a Local privilege escalation (LPE) Vulnerability due to a logic flaw. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow attackers with user privileges to escalate their privileges to root on the system where the Horizon Client for macOS is installed. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Fujifilm Business Innovation Apeos C3070, Apeos C5570 and Apeos C6580 up to 24.8.28 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /home/index.html#hashHome of the component Web Interface. The manipulation leads to improper authorization. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The vendor explains that "during technical verification it is not possible to reproduce any active actions like reboots which were mentioned in the original researcher disclosure." |
| A vulnerability in the API endpoints of Cisco Integrated Management Controller could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to bypass authorization and take actions on a vulnerable system without authorization.
The vulnerability is due to improper authorization checks on API endpoints. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious requests to an API endpoint. An exploit could allow the attacker to download files from or modify limited configuration options on the affected system. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| Insecure permissions in the packaging of tomcat allow local users that win a race during package installation to escalate to root |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher where a cluster or node driver can be used to escape the chroot
jail and gain root access to the Rancher container itself. In
production environments, further privilege escalation is possible based
on living off the land within the Rancher container itself. For the test
and development environments, based on a –privileged Docker container,
it is possible to escape the Docker container and gain execution access
on the host system.
This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.16, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.9, from 2.9.0 before 2.9.3. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in lastore-daemon, the system package manager daemon used in Deepin Linux (developed by Wuhan Deepin Technology Co., Ltd.). In versions 0.9.53-1 (Deepin 15.5) and 0.9.66-1 (Deepin 15.7), the D-Bus configuration permits any user in the sudo group to invoke the InstallPackage method without password authentication. By default, the first user created on Deepin is in the sudo group. An attacker with shell access can craft a .deb package containing a malicious post-install script and use dbus-send to install it via lastore-daemon, resulting in arbitrary code execution as root. |
| setuid() does not affect libuv's internal io_uring operations if initialized before the call to setuid().
This allows the process to perform privileged operations despite presumably having dropped such privileges through a call to setuid().
This vulnerability affects all users using version greater or equal than Node.js 18.18.0, Node.js 20.4.0 and Node.js 21. |
|
As a part of Tenable’s vulnerability disclosure program, a vulnerability in a Nessus plugin was identified and reported. This vulnerability could allow a malicious actor with sufficient permissions on a scan target to place a binary in a specific filesystem location, and abuse the impacted plugin in order to escalate privileges.
