Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in WooCommerce WooCommerce One Page Checkout allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects WooCommerce One Page Checkout: from n/a through 2.3.0.
An issue was discovered in the Amazon Linux packages of OpenSSH 7.4 for Amazon Linux 1 and 2, because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2019-6111 within these specific packages. The fix had only covered cases where an absolute path is passed to scp. When a relative path is used, there is no verification that the name of a file received by the client matches the file requested. Fixed packages are available with numbers 7.4p1-22.78.amzn1 and 7.4p1-22.amzn2.0.2.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in LWS LWS Affiliation allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects LWS Affiliation: from n/a through 2.2.6.
| A vulnerability has been discovered in Node.js version 20, specifically within the experimental permission model. This flaw relates to improper handling of path traversal bypass when verifying file permissions.
Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the permission model is an experimental feature of Node.js. |
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in NUUO NVRmini 2 up to 3.0.8. Affected is an unknown function of the file /deletefile.php. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-258780.
GeoVision GeoWebServer 5.3.3 contains multiple vulnerabilities including local file inclusion, cross-site scripting, and remote code execution through improper input sanitization. Attackers can exploit the WebStrings.srf endpoint by manipulating path traversal and injection parameters to access system files and execute malicious scripts.
Longjing Technology BEMS API versions up to and including 1.21 contains an unauthenticated arbitrary file download vulnerability in the 'downloads' endpoint. The 'fileName' parameter is not properly sanitized, allowing attackers to craft traversal sequences and access sensitive files outside the intended directory.
Easy Transfer 1.7 iOS mobile application contains a directory traversal vulnerability that allows remote attackers to access unauthorized file system paths without authentication. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by manipulating path parameters in GET and POST requests to list or download sensitive system files and inject malicious scripts into application parameters.
Booked Scheduler 2.7.7 contains a directory traversal vulnerability in the manage_email_templates.php script that allows authenticated administrators to access unauthorized files. Attackers can exploit the vulnerable 'tn' parameter to read files outside the intended directory by manipulating directory path traversal techniques.
The DesignThemes Core Features plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the dt_process_imported_file function in all versions up to, and including, 4.7. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the underlying operating system.
| Path traversal may lead to arbitrary file deletion. The score without
least privilege principle violation is as calculated below. In
combination with other issues it may facilitate further compromise of
the device. Remediation in Version 6.8.0, release date: 01-Mar-25. |
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in the file/folder listing process of the USB storage file-sharing function of HGW-BL1500HM Ver 002.002.003 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, the product's files may be obtained and/or altered by a crafted HTTP request to specific functions of the product from a device connected to the LAN side.
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in the file upload process of the USB storage file-sharing function of HGW-BL1500HM Ver 002.002.003 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, the product's files may be obtained and/or altered or arbitrary code may be executed by a crafted HTTP request to specific functions of the product from a device connected to the LAN side.
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in the file deletion process of the USB storage file-sharing function of HGW-BL1500HM Ver 002.002.003 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker may delete a file on the device or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.
A path traversal vulnerability in all versions of the Windsurf IDE enables a threat actor to read and write arbitrary local files in and outside of current projects on an end user’s system. The vulnerability can be reached directly and through indirect prompt injection.
Free Photo & Video Vault 0.0.2 contains a directory traversal web vulnerability that allows remote attackers to manipulate application path requests and access sensitive system files. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability without privileges to retrieve environment variables and access unauthorized system paths.
Webile 1.0.1 contains a directory traversal vulnerability that allows remote attackers to manipulate file system paths without authentication. Attackers can exploit path manipulation to access sensitive system directories and potentially compromise the mobile device's local file system.
Improper handling of values in the microcode flow for some Intel(R) Processor Family may allow an escalation of privilege. Startup code and smm adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present with special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (low), integrity (low) and availability (none) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (low), integrity (low) and availability (none) impacts.
Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4.
The keras.utils.get_file API in Keras, when used with the extract=True option for tar archives, is vulnerable to a path traversal attack. The utility uses Python's tarfile.extractall function without the filter="data" feature. A remote attacker can craft a malicious tar archive containing special symlinks, which, when extracted, allows them to write arbitrary files to any location on the filesystem outside of the intended destination folder. This vulnerability is linked to the underlying Python tarfile weakness, identified as CVE-2025-4517. Note that upgrading Python to one of the versions that fix CVE-2025-4517 (e.g. Python 3.13.4) is not enough. One additionally needs to upgrade Keras to a version with the fix (Keras 3.12).
