| This is a vulnerability in Bitbucket Data Center, Confluence Data Center, Jira Service Management Data Center, Jira Software Data Center, Bamboo Data Center. Crowd Data Center, Crucible and Fisheye. This Arbitrary File Access vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the target file's exact name and path; this vulnerability does not allow attackers to enumerate or list directory contents. In some configurations, there may be some sensitive files that make this highly severe. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/rxe: Restore HMM_PFN_WRITE check in ODP write paths
Commit 0b261d7c1cd3 ("RDMA/rxe: Break endless pagefault loop for RO
pages") dropped the access permission test from rxe_check_pagefault()
and left only HMM_PFN_VALID. A page faulted in read-only, for example
a page-cache folio behind a PROT_READ file mapping, then satisfies the
check and ODP write operations (RDMA WRITE, RDMA READ response, SEND
payload, atomics) modify it through kmap without ever breaking CoW.
An unprivileged user can register an ODP MR over such a mapping and
have incoming RDMA traffic overwrite the page cache of a file it only
holds O_RDONLY, including /etc/passwd or setuid binaries. This is the
same primitive class as Dirty COW and CVE-2022-2590.
mlx5 has the missing invariant: its ODP path sets the device write bit
only for pfns that carry HMM_PFN_WRITE. Restore it in rxe by requiring
HMM_PFN_WRITE in rxe_check_pagefault() for every operation except
RXE_PAGEFAULT_RDONLY. A write to a non-writable VMA now fails the one
fault attempt with -EPERM from hmm_vma_fault() instead of re-faulting
forever. For a writable VMA the fault breaks CoW and the write lands
in the private page.
Keep pmem flushes on the read-only check. arch_wb_cache_pmem() never
modifies memory, and the FLUSH access bits do not make the umem
writable, so classifying flushes as writes would make every flush
against a flush-only MR fail. |

| Authorization bypass through a user-controlled key in the optional Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample ( q-business-lambda-hook https://github.com/aws-solutions-library-samples/qnabot-on-aws/blob/main/source/docs/lambda_hooks/README.md ), available with QnABot on AWS versions 7.0.0 through 7.4.5, might allow an authenticated remote user to read arbitrary Amazon S3 objects in the deploying AWS account. This sample solution provides an example Lambda hook and requires separate, manual deployment and additional setup. It is not deployed automatically with QnABot. Customers who have not deployed this optional sample hook are not affected and do not need to take action.
To remediate this issue, affected customers should update the QnABot on AWS stack to version 7.4.6 or later and then redeploy the Amazon Q Business Lambda hook sample stack. Updating the QnABot on AWS stack alone does not deliver the fix. |

| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.21.8, the @backstage/plugin-kubernetes-backend package is affected by improper entity validation in deprecated kubernetes services endpoint. An authenticated user with Kubernetes read permissions could access Kubernetes workload data beyond their intended scope by supplying crafted entity data to the deprecated services endpoint. The exposure is limited to read-only access to Kubernetes object metadata across configured clusters. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.8. |

Prior to 0.3.25, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend-module-confluence-to-markdown package is affected by improper input validation in confluence to markdown scaffolder module. Insufficient input validation in the Confluence to Markdown scaffolder module could allow an attacker to influence file write operations during template execution. Exploitation requires a Backstage user to run a template that processes attacker-influenced Confluence content. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.25. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix smbd_connection leak on cifs_get_tcp_session() error
When an RDMA connection is successfully established via
smbd_get_connection() but cifs_get_tcp_session() later fails (e.g.
kthread_create() returns an error), the error path frees tcp_ses
without first destroying the smbd_connection.
Fix this by calling smbd_destroy() in the out_err cleanup path before
kfree(tcp_ses). smbd_destroy() safely handles the case where
smbd_conn is NULL, so it can be called unconditionally. |

Insufficient validation of MkDocs configuration during TechDocs generation could allow an authenticated user who can register or modify documentation sources to execute arbitrary commands in the build environment. Impact is limited to resources accessible to the TechDocs backend or build container. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. |
