| CVE-2026-54708 | 2 Freepbx, Sangoma | 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7, a critical vulnerability exists in the FreePBX backup Module that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. Authentication with a known username that has sufficient access permissions and/or write access to backup files is required. This vulnerability is caused by improper path sanitization in the backup restore functionality, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files to the web root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96618 | 1 Hexpm | 1 Hex | 2026-10-16 | 4.3 Medium |
| Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) vulnerability in hexpm hex allows an untrusted package mirror to exhaust the memory or disk space of the machine running mix deps.get, mix deps.update, mix hex.package fetch or mix hex.docs fetch. Hex treats a mirror configured with HEX_MIRROR_URL, HEX_MIRROR or mirror_url as untrusted: it doesn't send credentials to it, and it checks registry signatures and package checksums that the mirror can't forge. Several response paths consume memory or disk in proportion to what the mirror sends before any of those checks run. Hex.HTTP.request/5 reads the whole response body into memory and decompresses it with :zlib.gunzip/1 whenever the response's Content-Encoding contains gzip, with no limit on the compressed or decompressed size. Hex doesn't ask for compressed responses, so the server decides whether this step runs. It applies to registry, package, docs and API responses. Package tarballs have no download size limit. Hex 2.5.1 holds the whole tarball in memory and writes it to the cache, and the development branch streams it to a temporary file; the 16 MiB tarball limit is checked only when the file is unpacked. The tarball is then unpacked, into deps/<app> in 2.5.1 and into a staging directory on the development branch, before its checksums are compared with the registry. mix hex.docs fetch, and mix hex.docs offline when docs are missing, write the docs tarball to disk and extract it with :mix_hex_erl_tar.extract/2 without the 16 MiB compressed and 128 MiB decompressed limits that mix_hex_tarball:unpack_docs/3 applies. The signed registry doesn't cover docs tarballs, so nothing checks them. Registry responses are also decompressed before their signature is checked, in hex_core code that Hex vendors; that part is tracked in https://github.com/hexpm/hex_core/security/advisories/GHSA-7c4r-cgf9-9jmq. This issue affects hex: from 0.11.2 before 2.5.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96612 | 1 Hexpm | 1 Hex | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in hexpm hex allows a malicious package publisher to delete a directory outside the project's deps directory and extract package files into it when a developer fetches dependencies. A package release's requirements carry an app label that names the dependency's OTP application. Hex takes this label from the repository's signed registry and uses it as the dependency's application name without validating it (Hex.RemoteConverger.deps/2, Hex.Mix.to_lock/1). Mix derives the dependency's checkout directory as deps/<app>, and Hex.SCM.update/1 runs File.rm_rf!/1 on that directory and unpacks the package into it. hex.pm only checks the label's length, so a publisher can set it to a value such as ../../target. When a project depends on such a release directly or transitively, mix deps.get or mix deps.update deletes the directory the label resolves to and writes the labelled package's files there. This happens before any dependency code is compiled. This issue affects hex: from 0.6.0 before 2.5.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96535 | 1 Youmind | 1 Youmind Web Application | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Cross-Site Scripting on the YouMind portal, specifically in the avatar update endpoint, when setting a profile picture via an arbitrary URL. This occurs due to a lack of sanitisation and validation of SVG content when setting an SVG image containing embedded JavaScript code as the avatar. The file is served by the CDN with Content-Type: image/svg+xml and, when navigating directly to that URL, the script executes within the context of the CDN’s domain. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92877 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Jaxb-ri | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| The JAXB factory methods historically relied solely on `FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING` to prevent XML External Entity (XXE) resolution. On JAXP implementations where that feature alone does not block external entity resolution, an attacker who can get untrusted XML unmarshalled through JAXB can read local files via out-of-band XXE. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92876 | 1 Ibm | 1 Maximo Application Suite Iot Component | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| IBM Maximo Application Suite - IoT Component 9.2.0, 9.1.0, and 9.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled recursion. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92682 | 1 Neo4j | 1 Graphql | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| In @neo4j/graphql versions from 7.0.0 up to but not including 7.6.4, the none quantifier in @authorization filters on relationships and connections is not negated when translated to Cypher, so it behaves like some. A rule such as "none of the related denied users matches the JWT subject" therefore returns exactly the records it was meant to exclude, and excludes those it was meant to return. An authenticated user whom such a rule is meant to deny can read the protected records. This is also the case for mutations, so the impact is that sensitive data could also be created and deleted by users that shouldn't have access according to the typedefs. Fixed in 7.6.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92681 | 1 Neo4j | 1 Graphql | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| In @neo4j/graphql versions up to and including 7.6.3, @authentication directives applied at the schema level or on the Query or Mutation types are silently ignored for top-level fields annotated with @cypher. Only @authentication directives placed directly on the individual fields are enforced. An application that exposes a top-level @cypher field and relies on schema-level or type-level @authentication to protect it allows unauthenticated callers to invoke the field and run the configured Cypher statement with the privileges of the GraphQL service account, which may permit reading and modifying data. Fixed in 7.6.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92120 | 1 Apache | 1 Allura | 2026-10-16 | 9.1 Critical |

| CVE-2026-92116 | 1 Apache | 1 Allura | 2026-10-16 | 9.1 Critical |
| OAuth1 callback validation vulnerability in Apache Allura. This issue affects Apache Allura: through 1.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89079 | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| The Theme My Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in versions up to, and including, 7.2.1. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their password. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change arbitrary user's passwords on multi-site setups in certain configurations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85957 | 1 Progress Software Corporation | 1 Marklogic Server | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| Affected Progress MarkLogic Server 11.x releases before 11.3.7 use a SAML parser configuration that can process external DTDs or entities, which could result in unintended network access or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85949 | 1 Progress Software Corporation | 1 Marklogic Server | 2026-10-16 | 8.1 High |
| Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 may record security-sensitive information in diagnostic logs under certain configurations. An attacker with access to the affected logs could use this information to obtain unauthorized access to protected resources. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85499 | 1 Apache | 1 Skywalking Banyandb | 2026-10-16 | 9.1 Critical |
| Improper Authorization vulnerability in Apache SkyWalking BanyanDB. The Canopy includes incomplete proof-of-concept role and monitoring-proxy functionality. Under a non-default configuration with a readonly Canopy user and a reachable monitoring target, that user can send non-read requests through the monitoring proxy. This issue affects Apache SkyWalking BanyanDB: from 0.11.0 before 0.11.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.11.1, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84823 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Fuse and 2 more | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in WildFly. A user with the `Monitor` role, which is the lowest standard Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) role, can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the `take-snapshot` operation. By manipulating the `name` parameter, this user can write a copy of the server configuration to an arbitrary location. This allows the `Monitor` role to read back the server configuration, including sensitive credentials, which would otherwise be restricted by RBAC, leading to information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81856 | 1 Hexpm | 1 Hex | 2026-10-16 | 4.3 Medium |
| Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in hexpm hex allows a malicious package publisher or a hostile repository server to inject terminal control sequences into the output of Mix tasks. Hex prints strings supplied by the package repository and the documentation search service straight to the terminal through Hex.Shell.info/1 and Hex.Shell.error/1, neutralizing no control characters. Affected sinks span package metadata and configuration snippets in mix hex.info, search results in mix hex.package search and mix hex.search, owner and organization listings, publish and sponsor URLs, the authenticated username in mix hex.user, policy identities in mix hex.policy, and API error bodies rendered by Hex.Utils.print_error_result/1. A malicious package can embed ANSI escape sequences (cursor movement, line erase, carriage returns, OSC 52 clipboard writes) or Unicode bidirectional overrides in any of those fields, so the bytes reach the terminal unchanged, forging displayed URLs, package descriptions and suggested commands, concealing real output, or writing to the clipboard. No authentication or privileged position is required; only publishing a package. This issue affects hex: from 0.0.1 before 2.5.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79715 | 1 Ibm | 1 Websphere Application Server Liberty | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.9 could allow a local attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could use a specially crafted application archive to write files outside the intended directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59241 | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High | ||
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC V8.0 (All versions < V8.0 Update 11), SIMATIC WinCC V8.1 (All versions < V8.1 Update 7). The affected application does not sufficiently restrict the permissions assigned to a database role. This could allow an authenticated remote attacker with database access to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary commands on the host system where SIMATIC WinCC is installed, potentially leading to a compromise of the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21119 | 1 Samsung Mobile | 1 Samsung Mobile Devices | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in lib_sag_ai_sound_sep_v2.00.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to read and write out-of-bounds memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19740 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| The Link Layer Control Procedure (LLCP) implementation of the Zephyr software Bluetooth LE Controller retains the receive node that carried an accepted LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND so that it can later be reused for the host notification when the update instant is reached (llcp_rx_node_retain() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp.c, and the node is deliberately not recycled while marked NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN). The invalid-PDU arms of llcp_lp_pu_rx() and llcp_rp_pu_rx() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_phy.c completed the procedure via llcp_lr_complete() / llcp_rr_complete() without first releasing that retained node, so the procedure context — the only remaining reference to the node — was freed while the node was still held out of the receive pool. A peer device on an established LE connection can drive this deterministically and without pairing or encryption. Against a peripheral it sends LL_PHY_REQ, receives LL_PHY_RSP, sends a valid LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND with an instant a few connection events in the future (so the node becomes retained), and then, before the instant is reached, sends any other LL Control PDU such as LL_LENGTH_REQ; ull_cp_rx() routes it to the active remote PHY Update procedure, which takes the invalid-PDU path. The mirror case applies to a locally initiated PHY Update followed by an LL_REJECT_IND. In the default configuration (CONFIG_BT_ASSERT and CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ASSERT_DEBUG both default y) the violated invariant in llcp_lr_check_done() / llcp_rr_check_done() triggers a controller assertion, ending in k_oops() (or k_panic()) — a single crafted PDU sequence from radio range faults the device. With those assertions compiled out, each attempt silently leaks one receive PDU node and its memq link; because the controller receive pool is small (PDU_RX_CNT, driven by CONFIG_BT_CTLR_RX_BUFFERS, which defaults to 1) and each attempt costs the attacker only a reconnect, a few repetitions exhaust the pool and leave Bluetooth inoperable until reboot. On releases v3.4.0 through v3.7.x the assertion is never reached, whatever the configuration, so every attempt leaks silently. The impact is limited to availability: the orphaned node leaves no dangling pointer that is later dereferenced and is never delivered to the host, so there is no memory corruption or information disclosure. The same pull request applies the identical release to the Connection Update and CIS-create procedures, whose invalid-PDU arms had the same omission. | ||||
