CVSS v3.1 |
| Buffer overflow in WebGL in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 153.0.8010.52 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) |
| A buffer overflow issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5. Processing a maliciously crafted image may corrupt process memory. |
| PLANET IGS-5225-8P2T4S industrial managed switch V1 and V2 firmware versions before 1.2412b260707 and 2.2412b260519 contain a stack-based buffer overflow in the web server. Insufficient bounds checking on data copied into a stack buffer allows a remote authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: ljca: bound bank_num in ljca_enumerate_gpio()
ljca_enumerate_gpio() reads desc->bank_num from the device and loops
valid_pin[i] = get_unaligned_le32(...) for i < bank_num. valid_pin[]
holds only LJCA_MAX_GPIO_NUM / 32 = 2 entries.
Two checks run before the loop. The reply length must match
struct_size(desc, bank_desc, bank_num). The product
pins_per_bank * bank_num must not exceed LJCA_MAX_GPIO_NUM. Neither one
bounds bank_num against the size of valid_pin[]. The reply is capped at
LJCA_MAX_PAYLOAD_SIZE (60) bytes, so the struct_size check limits
bank_num to 9. A device that reports bank_num 9 with pins_per_bank 7
still passes both checks. gpio_num is 63 and the reply is 56 bytes. The
loop then writes nine u32 into the two entry array and overruns
valid_pin[] on the stack.
A broken or malicious LJCA device can therefore overflow the stack.
Reject a bank_num that does not fit valid_pin[]. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf, x86: Fix trampoline stack size for 128-bit arguments
btf_distill_func_proto() accepts a function argument up to 16 bytes, so a
128-bit scalar such as __int128 reaches the x86 trampoline with
arg_size == 16. But the current implementation assumes an __int128
argument only needs one register, so the register save area is
under-allocated and save_args() overwrites adjacent stack slots.
Compute the register count from arg_size for all arguments to fix it. |
| FatPipe MPVPN, WARP, and IPVPN appliances running the end-of-life firmware version 10.1.2r60p100 contain a stack-based buffer overflow in /usr/sbin/auth_user_pass. An unauthenticated remote attacker with access to the affected management interface can submit a crafted authentication request that reaches an unchecked copy into a fixed-size stack buffer, potentially allowing arbitrary code execution as root.
The affected management interface is disabled by default and must be affirmatively enabled by the customer before the endpoint becomes reachable. FatPipe recommends restricting management access to trusted administrative networks and using WAN access control lists to limit access to trusted sources.
Customers running the affected end-of-life firmware can contact FatPipe Support for help confirming their firmware version and upgrading to a current supported release at https://www.fatpipeinc.com/support/support, support@fatpipeinc.com, or +1 800-724-8521 (option 3). |
| A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0842, the socket server backend in src/socketserver.c accepts unbounded client connections in socketserver_accept(), causing descriptors to overflow fd_set structures in src/channel.c and fixed-size struct pollfd arrays in src/os_unix.c, which allows a local process that can connect to the server socket to corrupt stack memory or terminate the Vim server. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0842. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Samsung Opensource rLottie allows attackers to overflow buffers, leading to memory corruption when rendering crafted vector animations.
This issue affects rLottie: 480a2ad0c5d2e45458c545b8213279e9e8b71e39. |
| Netcore NR255-V version 1.5.130703 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in reboot_timer_set.cgi caused by improper sscanf token parsing. Attackers can exploit this flaw by submitting crafted input to the affected endpoint to corrupt stack memory. |
| PocketSphinx is a small speech recognizer. Prior to 5.1.1, the trie language-model loaders in src/lm/ngram_model_trie.c do not adequately validate boundary conditions in ARPA, DMP, and binary format headers, and the acoustic-model loaders in src/mdef.c and src/util/bio.c use sscanf with unbounded string fields. Loading an invalid, corrupted, or malicious language or acoustic model can therefore cause stack or heap buffer overflows and memory corruption. An attacker who can write to a directory selected by POCKETSPHINX_PATH can replace or add a model file that PocketSphinx later loads; users of PocketSphinx 5prealpha have no backported patch and must migrate to the fixed release. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.1. |
| Netcore NR255-V version 1.5.130703 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in wake_up_set.cgi caused by unbounded tokenization of MAC and ID input. Attackers can supply crafted MAC and ID values to the affected endpoint to overflow the stack buffer and corrupt program memory. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Remote I/O Coupler Unit (Server Type) CPSN-MCB271-*. Receiving a specially crafted request created and sent by a remote attacker may cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| C12.22 protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.7 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service |
| IBM MQ 9.1.0.0 through 9.1.0.37 LTS, 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.0.43 LTS, 9.3.0.0 through 9.3.0.41 LTS, 9.3.0.0 through 9.3.5.1 CD, 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.0.25 LTS, 9.4.0.0 through 9.4.5.1 CD, and 10.0.0.0 could allow a remote attacker with a trusted TLS client certificate to cause a denial of service and potentially affect memory contents due to improper validation of deeply nested certificate data during TLS certificate processing. |
| A vulnerability was determined in GPAC up to f1219cde. The affected element is the function gf_node_activate_ex of the file scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c. This manipulation causes stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version abi-16.23 is sufficient to fix this issue. Patch name: 9eb40df4448b88d6a6ce3454657c06f47eff0b24. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| The Affinity by Canva application before 3.3.0 (September 2026 release) did not perform adequate bounds checking when parsing Affinity document files leading to a stack-based buffer overflow. A threat actor could craft a Affinity document that when opened by a user in Affinity could result in arbitrary code execution. |
| A stack overflow during the unauthenticated login process may allow an attacker to run arbitrary code remotely with root privileges. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Graphics Component allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in Windows Hyper-V allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
