CVSS v3.1 |
In checkCallerIsCertInstallerOrSelfInProfile of CredentialStorageActivity.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Scrapy is a high-level web crawling and scraping framework for Python. From 1.4.0 until 2.14.2, RefererMiddleware in scrapy/spidermiddlewares/referer.py treated a Referrer-Policy response-header value that resembled a Python import path as a referrer policy class, imported the referenced object, and called it. A malicious website could supply a callable such as sys.exit and terminate a crawler processing the response. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.2.
apko allows users to build and publish OCI container images built from apk packages. From version 0.2.0 to before version 1.4.5, UserEntry.Parse and GroupEntry.Parse in pkg/passwd read the UID and GID fields of /etc/passwd and /etc/group entries with strconv.Atoi and convert them to uint32 without a range check. On 64-bit platforms an out-of-range value such as 4294967296 (2^32) is truncated to 0, and negative values wrap. Because apko parses the passwd and group entries supplied by the packages it installs and writes them back into the image, an attacker who controls a package installed into the image can ship an entry that appears to declare an unprivileged UID or GID but is written into the built image as UID 0 or GID 0 (root). The truncated UID is also used when resolving the image's run-as user. This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.5.
Dify is an open-source LLM app development platform. Prior to 1.13.0, the /console/api/remote-files/upload endpoint in api/controllers/web/remote_files.py accepted an attacker-controlled URL without authentication and caused the Dify server to retrieve it. A remote attacker could use the endpoint to send requests to internal services or cloud metadata endpoints, potentially exposing sensitive data and using the server as a network pivot. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.30.0, structured-output request failures can escape request-scoped validation and reach the EngineCore fatal-error path. A per-request backend mismatch can re-raise a grammar compilation exception, padding produced by the ngram_gpu speculative-decoding mode can pass a negative token to guidance validation, and the Rust frontend can admit empty structured-output values that the Python frontend rejects, allowing ordinary constrained-generation requests to terminate the shared engine. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.0.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.28.0, the default mirrored multimodal LRU cache can commit a media hash in the frontend sender cache during multimodal rendering and before engine admission, while the engine receiver cache never receives the payload if that request is rejected. A later request reusing the same media hash causes MultiModalProcessorSenderCache to send no payload and MultiModalReceiverCache to reach an assertion with the message "Expected a cached item," producing a shared-service availability failure. This issue is fixed in version 0.28.0.
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.95.0 until 2.132.0, the HTML image resource loader in docling/backend/utils/image_resource_loader.py forwards headers configured through the HTMLBackendOptions.headers setting to every remote image URL named by an untrusted document when enable_remote_fetch=True and fetch_images=True. The loader does not restrict those credentials to the source document's origin, allowing requests that carry custom headers such as API keys and cookies to follow cross-origin redirects and expose the caller's configured credentials to a document author. The default configuration is not affected because remote fetching and configured headers are required. This issue is fixed in 2.132.0.
A weakness has been identified in SourceCodester Drug Recommendation System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function. Executing a manipulation can lead to cross-site request forgery. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, the unauthenticated get-view-only-bundle RPC returns every share-link row for a file even when the caller authenticated with only one scoped share link. A holder of a restrictive link can obtain other links' secret IDs, page scopes, comment permissions, and inspection permissions, then replay a more permissive token to access page data that was not included in the original share. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0.
Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, create-team-invitations and the invitation acceptance path allow a non-owner team administrator to assign the owner role because invitation roles are persisted and applied without the role-ceiling check used by update-team-member-role. An administrator can invite another account as an owner, create multiple owners, and then use the new owner account to obtain owner-only control over the team. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0.
A security flaw has been discovered in jishenghua jshERP up to 3.5. Affected is the function updateAccountHeadAndDetail of the file jshERP-boot/src/main/java/com/jsh/erp/service/AccountHeadService.java of the component Financial Receipt Update Handler. Performing a manipulation results in improper authorization. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A security vulnerability has been detected in TOTOLINK X6000R 9.4.0cu.652_B20230116. The impacted element is the function firmware_check of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi of the component UploadFirmwareFile Handler. Such manipulation of the argument file_name leads to os command injection. The attack may be performed from remote.
A security flaw has been discovered in girishsaraf Online-Appointment-Booking-System up to f427b4757128ca253d33d0cc4e87bbb9c999a4d5. Impacted is an unknown function of the file signup.php of the component Registration Handler. The manipulation of the argument fname results in sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A security flaw has been discovered in dotnet eShop .NET 8. The impacted element is the function GetOrderAsync of the file src/Ordering.API/Apis/OrdersApi.cs of the component Ordering API. Performing a manipulation of the argument OrderNumber results in improper control of resource identifiers. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A weakness has been identified in feelec-yishu feelcrm-os 1.0.0. This vulnerability affects the function index of the file App/Feelcrm/Index/Controller/MemberController.class.php of the component Member Endpoint. This manipulation of the argument group_id causes sql injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A flaw was found in SSSD. An unprivileged local user can repeatedly request lookups for nonexistent entries through the Name Service Switch (NSS) responder. Because the negative cache does not limit the total number of stored entries and only removes expired records when an existing key is rechecked, the cache can grow without bound. This behavior can lead to memory exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) as the responder becomes unresponsive or terminates.
Strapi through 4.5.5 allows attackers (with access to the admin panel) to discover sensitive user details by exploiting the query filter. The attacker can filter users by columns that contain sensitive information and infer a value from API responses. If the attacker has super admin access, then this can be exploited to discover the password hash and password reset token of all users. If the attacker has admin panel access to an account with permission to access the username and email of API users with a lower privileged role (e.g., Editor or Author), then this can be exploited to discover sensitive information for all API users but not other admin accounts.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: bcmasp: clear txcb->last before writing each descriptor
bcmasp_xmit() only wrote txcb->last = true for the final fragment
of an SKB; non-final fragments left the field untouched. If a
descriptor slot was reused while it still held a stale true from
a previous SKB (possible when tx_spb_ring_full() underreported
fullness), bcmasp_tx_reclaim() would see last == true mid-SKB and
call dev_consume_skb_any() prematurely, freeing the sk_buff while
its remaining fragments were still in flight.
Unconditionally clear txcb->last before the conditional set so every
descriptor slot starts from a known false state regardless of what a
prior transmission left behind. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
exec: Cleanup POSIX timers right after de_thread()
A per-thread CPU timer holds a reference to the PID of the thread it is
attached to and, while it is armed, its node is queued in that thread's
posix_cputimers. The task is looked up by that PID.
When a non-leader thread exec()s, de_thread() changes which task owns
that PID. pid_task(timer->it.cpu.pid, PIDTYPE_PID) then returns NULL,
but the node is still queued on tsk, which is alive. timer_lock_sighand()
takes a failed lookup to mean that the node is already dequeued, so it
has nothing to undo.
begin_new_exec() calls posix_cpu_timers_exit(me) right after
exec_task_namespaces() and that removes the leftover node, so the state
normally stays invisible. But bprm->point_of_no_return is set before
de_thread(), so if unshare_files(), set_mm_exe_file(), exec_mmap() or
exec_task_namespaces() fails, the task dies before it gets there.
exit_itimers() then frees the k_itimer while its node is still queued,
and reaping tsk later erases that freed node from the rbtree.
In short:
the non-leader thread B the parent
timer_create(CLOCK_THREAD_CPUTIME_ID)
timer_settime()
arm_timer() // the node is queued on B
execve()
de_thread(B)
exchange_tids(B, leader) // B's PID now belongs to the leader
release_task(leader)
__exit_signal(leader)
posix_cpu_timers_exit(leader) // cleans leader's queue, not B's
__unhash_process(leader) // that PID has no task anymore
exec_mmap()
mmap_read_lock_killable(old_mm)
kill(B, SIGKILL)
// -EINTR
get_signal()
do_exit()
exit_itimers()
posix_timer_delete()
posix_cpu_timer_del()
posix_timer_unhash_and_free() // freed while still queued
wait4()
release_task(B)
posix_cpu_timers_exit(B)
cleanup_timerqueue()
timerqueue_del() // use-after-free
Move the POSIX timer cleanup right after de_thread() before any of the
later failure conditions brings the task into do_exit().
