CVSS v3.1 |
Go JOSE provides an implementation of the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption set of standards in Go, including support for JSON Web Encryption (JWE), JSON Web Signature (JWS), and JSON Web Token (JWT) standards. In versions on the 4.x branch prior to version 4.0.5, when parsing compact JWS or JWE input, Go JOSE could use excessive memory. The code used strings.Split(token, ".") to split JWT tokens, which is vulnerable to excessive memory consumption when processing maliciously crafted tokens with a large number of `.` characters. An attacker could exploit this by sending numerous malformed tokens, leading to memory exhaustion and a Denial of Service. Version 4.0.5 fixes this issue. As a workaround, applications could pre-validate that payloads passed to Go JOSE do not contain an excessive number of `.` characters.
Fetch FTP Client 5.8.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger 100% CPU consumption by sending long server responses. Attackers can send specially crafted FTP server responses exceeding 2K bytes to cause excessive resource utilization and potentially crash the application.
The pairing API request handler in Microsoft HoloLens 1 (Windows Holographic) through 10.0.17763.3046 and HoloLens 2 (Windows Holographic) through 10.0.22621.1244 allows remote attackers to cause a Denial of Service (resource consumption and device unusability) by sending many requests through the Device Portal framework.
Cyberfox Web Browser 52.9.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by overflowing the search bar with excessive data. Attackers can generate a 9,000,000 byte payload and paste it into the search bar to trigger an application crash.
A denial-of-service vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo printers that could allow an unauthenticated attacker on a shared network to deny printer connections until the system is rebooted.
async-graphql is a GraphQL server library implemented in Rust. async-graphql before 7.0.10 does not limit the number of directives for a field. This can lead to Service Disruption, Resource Exhaustion, and User Experience Degradation. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.10.
Improper resource management in firmware of some Solidigm DC Products may allow an attacker to potentially enable denial of service.
An unauthenticated remote attacker may use an uncontrolled resource consumption in the IEC 61131 program of the affected products by creating large amounts of network traffic that needs to be handled by the ILC. This results in a Denial-of-Service of the device.
An attacker can craft an input to the Parse functions that would be processed non-linearly with respect to its length, resulting in extremely slow parsing. This could cause a denial of service.
ProFTPD 1.3.7a contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to overwhelm the server by creating multiple simultaneous FTP connections. Attackers can repeatedly establish connections using threading to exhaust server connection limits and block legitimate user access.
GeoGebra CAS Calculator 6.0.631.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by generating a large buffer overflow. Attackers can create a payload with 8000 repeated characters and paste it into the calculator's input field to trigger an application crash.

Affected devices do not properly limit the bandwidth for incoming network packets over their local USB port. This could allow an attacker with physical access to send specially crafted packets with high bandwidth to the affected devices thus forcing them to exhaust their memory and stop responding to any network traffic via the local USB port. Affected devices reset themselves automatically after a successful attack. The protection function is not affected of this vulnerability. |
rplay through 3.3.2 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (SIGSEGV and daemon crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact. This occurs in memcpy in the RPLAY_DATA case in rplay_unpack in librplay/rplay.c, potentially reachable via packet data with no authentication.
GeoGebra Classic 5.0.631.0-d contains a denial of service vulnerability in the input field that allows attackers to crash the application by sending oversized buffer content. Attackers can generate a large buffer of 800,000 repeated characters and paste it into the 'Entrada:' input field to trigger an application crash.
GeoGebra Graphing Calculator 6.0.631.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by inputting an oversized buffer. Attackers can generate a payload of 8000 repeated characters to overwhelm the input field and cause the application to become unresponsive.
Rate limiting for certain API calls is not being enforced, making HCL Velocity vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. An attacker could flood the system with a large number of requests, overwhelming its resources and causing it to become unresponsive to legitimate users. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.1.7.
bep/imagemeta is a Go library for reading EXIF, IPTC and XMP image meta data from JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and WebP files. The EXIF data format allows for defining excessively large data structures in relatively small payloads. Before v0.10.0, If you didn't trust the input images, this could be abused to construct denial-of-service attacks. v0.10.0 added LimitNumTags (default 5000) and LimitTagSize (default 10000) options.
bep/imagemeta is a Go library for reading EXIF, IPTC and XMP image meta data from JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and WebP files. The buffer created for parsing metadata for PNG and WebP images was only bounded by their input data type, which could lead to potentially large memory allocation, and unreasonably high for image metadata. Before v0.11.0, If you didn't trust the input images, this could be abused to construct denial-of-service attacks. v0.11.0 added a 10 MB upper limit.
Frigate 2.02 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by sending oversized input to the command line interface. Attackers can generate a payload of 8000 repeated characters and paste it into the application's command line field to trigger an application crash.
An Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in the ANSL-Server component of B&R Automation Runtime versions prior to 6.5 and prior to R4.93 could be exploited by an unauthenti-cated attacker on the network to win a race condition, resulting in permanent denial-of-service (DoS) conditions on affected devices.
