CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in the StreamsHub Console for Apache Kafka. Tenant-supplied Kafka client properties from the Console custom resource are copied into the console-api AdminClient configuration without filtering security-sensitive keys, allowing a Console CR author to set config.providers and bootstrap.servers to exfiltrate the console-api ServiceAccount token to an attacker-controlled broker.
On a multi-user system, a user with an active local login session could downgrade a system-wide Flatpak app to an older version by removing the app's remote ref via the unprivileged system-helper RemoveLocalRef method, causing the anti-downgrade check to fail to find a reference date. A malicious local user could use this to expose other users of the same system to an app version with unfixed vulnerabilities.
An OS command injection flaw was found in the set_hostname_internal function of NooBaa's cluster_internal_api. This component is responsible for managing the Multi-Cloud Object Gateway in OpenShift Data Foundation. The vulnerability occurs because the hostname parameter is passed directly to a shell command without proper sanitization. An authenticated attacker with administrative privileges can provide a specially crafted hostname containing shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary commands on the host system with the privileges of the NooBaa process.
A flaw was found in libsoup. When constructing a masked WebSocket client frame for a very large outgoing payload, size values passed to GByteArray allocation APIs could be truncated while the masking routine still used the full length, causing a heap buffer overflow.
A flaw was found in libsoup. When reassembling fragmented WebSocket messages into a GByteArray, libsoup did not adequately cap total message size against the limits of the underlying buffer type. A remote peer could send fragments that caused size truncation while the implementation still used the full length, leading to heap corruption or a crash.
A flaw was found in dash. When built without libc fnmatch, the internal pmatch() matcher implements * by unbounded recursion over candidate positions. A local user who can plant filenames, or otherwise feed that matcher, can make a short multi-star pattern such as *.*.*.*.*.tar.gz consume excessive CPU.
Path traversal / arbitrary file write in oc-mirror's operator catalog image extraction. When mirroring operator catalogs using either the legacy v1 path (--v1) or the OCI feature path (--use-oci-feature), oc-mirror extracts tar entries from catalog image layers without validating that file paths resolve within the intended destination directory.
A flaw was found in libsoup. When handling an incoming WebSocket Pong frame, SoupWebsocketConnection emitted the ::pong signal with a GByteArray pointer even though the signal is declared to pass a GBytes. Applications connecting a handler that follows the documented GBytes API can trigger heap corruption or a crash upon receiving a crafted Pong.
A flaw was found in libsoup. The soup_uri_decode_data_uri() function incorrectly treated base64 data-URI payloads as NUL-terminated strings when calling g_base64_decode_inplace(). If the percent-decoded payload contained embedded NUL bytes, the decoded length could remain uninitialized and be used as the size of the returned GBytes. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read or application crash when processing a crafted data URI.
A flaw was found in libsoup. When max-incoming-payload-size is unlimited (0), SoupWebsocketConnection could grow its incoming GByteArray based on an attacker-controlled frame length until the length wrapped, causing a heap buffer overflow while reading frame data.
A flaw was found in libsoup. When the permessage-deflate WebSocket extension compresses a very large outgoing message, truncated size calculations used for GByteArray growth could wrap, causing zlib to write past the allocated buffer and resulting in a heap buffer overflow.
A trust-boundary flaw in CRI-O's sandbox state persistence allows attacker-influenced pod metadata to overwrite CRI-O's own reserved sandbox bookkeeping; once reloaded as trusted after a restart, a later container recreate in that sandbox can expose a host-side runtime-management resource inside the container, enabling container escape.
A flaw was found in SoupServer (libsoup). When an HTTP/1.x client sends a request with Expect: 100-continue and a request body, and SoupServer returns an early final (non-1xx) response before the body is read, the server neither drains the declared body bytes nor closes the connection. On a keep-alive connection, those leftover bytes are interpreted as a subsequent HTTP request. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can place a complete HTTP request in the body and cause SoupServer to process that smuggled request, leading to unintended request handling.
IN THE EXTENSION SCRIPT, a SQL Injection vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL if it uses @extowner@, @extschema@, or @extschema:...@ inside a quoting construct (dollar quoting, '', or ""). If an administrator has installed files of a vulnerable, trusted, non-bundled extension, an attacker with database-level CREATE privilege can execute arbitrary code as the bootstrap superuser.
A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution.
Hugo versions from v0.162.0 before v0.166.0 contain a case-sensitive validation flaw in the security.http.urls IP-literal deny rule that allows attackers to bypass restrictions. Attackers can use mixed-case URL schemes in resources.GetRemote calls to fetch from restricted IP addresses like localhost.
This CVE was reserved in error and duplicates CVE-2026-89530.
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in rpm. RPMTAG_FILESIGNATURES in a crafted, unsigned RPM package's main header is declared with the wrong header type, causing hex2binv() to allocate a one-byte buffer and then write the tag's attacker-controlled, hex-decoded content — of attacker-chosen length — past the end of that allocation. This is reachable via rpm2cpio, rpm2archive, and rpm -qlvp on an untrusted package.
A flaw was found in `guardrails-detectors`, a component of Red Hat OpenShift AI. This vulnerability, known as Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS), allows a remote attacker to provide specially crafted regular expressions to the public detection API. This can cause catastrophic backtracking, leading to a worker process consuming 100% CPU indefinitely and resulting in a denial of service for the entire guardrails-mediated LLM pipeline.
A flaw was found in KubeVirt. An authenticated user with permission to create Virtual Machine Instances (VMIs) can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a virtual machine definition with an empty ephemeral volume. The virt-controller component fails to properly validate the volume configuration, leading to an unhandled exception and application crash during processing. Because the malformed definition persists in the cluster, the controller enters a continuous crash loop, disrupting virtual machine lifecycle operations across the entire environment.
