CVSS v3.1 |
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, windows opened from a sandboxed top-level document did not inherit that document's active HTML sandbox restrictions. Untrusted content in a sandboxed top-level document that was permitted to open popups could therefore create a window with the Electron application's full origin instead of the restricted origin intended by the sandbox. Applications that deny such popups with setWindowOpenHandler are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5.
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, an Electron <webview> guest could enable nodeIntegrationInWorker for its Web Workers even when the unsandboxed embedder had Node.js integration disabled, allowing untrusted guest content to create a Node-enabled worker with more privilege than the embedder granted. Applications that do not enable the <webview> tag or that keep the embedder sandboxed are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5.
| Attacker model / Preconditions: a loaded `TXM_MODULE_USER_MODE | TXM_MODULE_MEMORY_PROTECTION` module issuing kernel dispatch calls, on a build with `TX_ENABLE_EVENT_TRACE`.
A user-mode, memory-protected module can register an arbitrary function pointer as the global trace-full callback. The kernel calls it directly — no validation, no trampoline — from privileged kernel code when the trace buffer wraps.
An invalid pointer faults the kernel (DoS). A pointer into the module's own code was observed running with kernel privilege (`CONTROL.nPRIV = 0`), confirmed at runtime with a register capture inside that code. |
Improper privilege management in Mojo in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 154.0.8037.92 allowed a local attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: High)
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, RabbitMQ OAuth credential refresh retains revoked runtime tags. when an existing AMQP connection refreshes from an OAuth token that grants the impersonator tag to a valid same-username token that no longer grants that tag, RabbitMQ updates the OAuth backend implementation (token/scopes/expiry) but leaves the connection's runtime #user.tags unchanged. rabbitaccesscontrol:checkuserid/2 then still honors the stale impersonator tag, so the connection (including newly opened channels) can continue publishing messages with a foreign AMQP userid after that privilege should have been revoked. A fresh connection using the downgraded token correctly refuses the same publish, proving the defect is stale session state rather than the token Limited to connections that once held impersonator and successfully refresh to a downgraded same-username rabbitauthbackendoauth2 (or an equivalent refresh-capable backend that returns tags) is enabled for This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.
A vulnerability was determined in Eleveo Call Recording Software 9.7.0. This affects an unknown part of the file /callrec/searchAction.do of the component Query Builder. This manipulation causes improper access controls. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Spoofing issue in the Downloads component in Firefox for Android. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 157.
Privilege escalation in the Address Bar component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the HP Support Assistant for versions prior to 9.55.10.0. The vulnerability could potentially allow a local attacker to escalate privileges due to insufficient access controls.
Sandbox escape in the DOM: Navigation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Firefox 157, Firefox ESR 115.42, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
Sandbox escape in the XUL component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4 and Firefox 157.
Privilege escalation in the Places component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4 and Firefox 157.
Sandbox escape in the Graphics component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Firefox 157, Firefox ESR 115.42, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
Privilege escalation in the DLL Services component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
Privilege escalation in the DOM: Service Workers component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
The All-in-One WP Migration and Backup WordPress plugin before 7.111 does not perform any capability check on several of its AJAX actions, gating them only on an installation-wide secret which it discloses to any user permitted to export the site, allowing such a user to import an arbitrary site archive and gain administrator access. Exploitation requires an administrator to have granted the export capability to a role that does not hold the All-in-One WP Migration and Backup WordPress plugin before 7.111's own import capability, which is not a default configuration.
In SettingsLib, there is a possible way to disable system components due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In updateProvidersWhenServiceRemoved of CredentialManagerService.java, there is a possible way to override settings across users due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A vulnerability was found in RaspAP raspap-webgui up to 3.5.5. Affected by this issue is the function PluginInstaller::addSudoers of the file src/RaspAP/Plugins/PluginInstaller.php of the component sudo Configuration. Performing a manipulation results in improper privilege management. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was identified in realjerrytang tacomall 1.0.0. Impacted is the function OrgStaffServiceImpl.add of the file ApiMaApplication.java of the component api-admin Backend. The manipulation of the argument isAdmin/jobId leads to improper authorization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is publicly available and might be used.
