| CVE-2026-63996 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ethtool: cmis: require exact CDB reply length Malicious SFP module could respond with rpl_len longer than what cmis_cdb_process_reply() expected, leading to OOB writes. Malicious HW is a bit theoretical but some modules may just be buggy and/or the reads may occasionally get corrupted, so let's protect the kernel. The existing check protects from short replies. We need to protect from long ones, too. All callers that pass a non-zero rpl_exp_len cast the reply payload to a fixed-layout struct and read fields at fixed offsets, with no version negotiation or short-reply handling: - cmis_cdb_validate_password() - cmis_cdb_module_features_get() - cmis_fw_update_fw_mng_features_get() so let's assume that responses longer than expected do not have to be handled gracefully here. Add a warning message to make the debug easier in case my understanding is wrong... Note that page_data->length (argument of kmalloc) comes from last arg to ethtool_cmis_page_init() which is rpl_exp_len. Note2 that AIs also like to point out overflows in args->req.payload itself (which is a fixed-size 120 B buffer, on the stack), but callers should be reading structs defined by the standard, so protecting from requests for more data than max seem like defensive programming. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82039 | 2026-10-02 | 8.8 High | ||
| UTMStack before 11.2.16 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in UtmAssetGroupService.searchQueryBuilder() that allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SQL by supplying malicious assetType and groupName values that are inserted unsanitized into a native PostgreSQL query via String.format(). Attackers can exploit the GET /api/utm-asset-groups/searchGroupsByFilter endpoint to execute arbitrary SQL with DBA privileges, enabling full database read, data modification, and potential filesystem access. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95314 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-10-02 | 8.1 High |
| Incorrect authorization in HID in Google Chrome prior to 154.0.8037.57 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-64001 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: pcm: oss: Fix setup list UAF on proc write error snd_pcm_oss_proc_write() links a newly allocated setup entry into the OSS setup list before duplicating the task name. If the task-name allocation fails, the error path frees the already linked entry and leaves setup_list pointing at freed memory. A later OSS device open can then walk the stale list entry in snd_pcm_oss_look_for_setup() and dereference freed memory. Allocate the task name and initialize the setup entry before publishing the entry on setup_list. Also fetch the initial proc read iterator only after taking setup_mutex, so all setup_list traversal follows the same list lifetime rules. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64008 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: fix UAF via dangling GEM handle in create_bo rocket_ioctl_create_bo() inserts a GEM handle into the file's IDR via drm_gem_handle_create() early on, then performs several operations that can fail (sgt allocation, drm_mm insert, iommu_map). If any fail after the handle is live, the error path calls drm_gem_shmem_object_free() which kfree's the object without removing the handle from the IDR. This leaves a dangling handle pointing to freed slab memory. Any subsequent ioctl using that handle (PREP_BO, FINI_BO, SUBMIT) calls drm_gem_object_lookup() and dereferences freed memory (UAF). Fix by moving drm_gem_handle_create() to after all fallible operations succeed, matching the pattern used by panfrost, lima, and etnaviv. Also fix drm_mm_insert_node_generic() whose return value was silently overwritten by iommu_map_sgtable() on the next line. Add the missing error check. [tomeu: Move handle creation to the very end] | ||||
| CVE-2026-95285 | 1 Google | 2 Android, Chrome | 2026-10-02 | 8.4 High |
| Missing authorization in WebView in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 154.0.8037.57 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) | ||||
| CVE-2026-63975 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix possible crash on l2cap_ecred_conn_rsp If dcid is received for an already-assigned destination CID the spec requires that both channels to be discarded, but calling l2cap_chan_del may invalidate the tmp cursor created by list_for_each_entry_safe and in fact it is the wrong procedure as the chan->dcid may be assigned previously it really needs to be disconnected. Calling l2cap_chan_clone directly may still lead to l2cap_chan_del so instead schedule l2cap_chan_timeout with delay 0 to close the channel asynchronously. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95278 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-10-02 | 8.4 High |
| Missing authorization in WakeLock in Google Chrome prior to 154.0.8037.57 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) | ||||
| CVE-2026-63972 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Skip redundant detach on already-detached port When mana_per_port_queue_reset_work_handler() runs after a previous detach succeeded but attach failed, the port is left in a detached state with apc->tx_qp and apc->rxqs already freed. Calling mana_detach() again unconditionally leads to NULL pointer dereferences during queue teardown. Add an early exit in mana_detach() when the port is already in detached state (!netif_device_present) for non-close callers, making it safe to call idempotently. This allows the queue reset handler and other recovery paths to simply retry mana_attach() without redundant teardown. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63971 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix race between sctp_wait_for_connect and peeloff sctp_wait_for_connect() drops and re-acquires the socket lock while waiting for the association to reach ESTABLISHED state. During this window, another thread can peeloff the association to a new socket via getsockopt(SCTP_SOCKOPT_PEELOFF), changing asoc->base.sk. After re-acquiring the old socket lock, sctp_wait_for_connect() returns success without noticing the migration — the caller then accesses the association under the wrong lock in sctp_datamsg_from_user(). Add the same sk != asoc->base.sk check that sctp_wait_for_sndbuf() already has, returning an error if the association was migrated while we slept. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63970 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: bind uarg before filling zerocopy skb virtio_transport_send_pkt_info() allocates or reuses the zerocopy uarg before entering the send loop, but virtio_transport_alloc_skb() still fills the skb before it inherits that uarg. When fixed-buffer vectored zerocopy hits MAX_SKB_FRAGS, io_sg_from_iter() may partially attach managed frags and return -EMSGSIZE. The rollback path call kfree_skb() to free an skb that carries SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS but no uarg, so skb_release_data() falls through to ordinary frag unref. Pass the uarg into virtio_transport_alloc_skb() and bind it immediately before virtio_transport_fill_skb(). This keeps control or no-payload skbs untouched while ensuring success and rollback share one lifetime rule. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104991 | 1 Alanaktion | 1 Phproject | 2026-10-02 | 7.1 High |
| Phproject before 1.8.7 contains a missing object-level authorization vulnerability in the REST API issue endpoints (single_get, single_comments, single_comments_post) that allows authenticated API key holders to bypass the security.restrict_access confidentiality control by never invoking the allowAccess() authorization routine. Attackers can use a valid API key to read restricted issue contents and comments, including owner and author email addresses, and post unauthorized comments to issues they should not have access to. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104861 | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High | ||
| probe-image-size gets image dimensions without downloading the entire file. Prior to 7.4.0, lib/parse_sync/svg.js and lib/parse_stream/svg.js use the searching regular expression /<[-_.:a-zA-Z0-9][^>]*>/, which repeatedly scans to the end of input when attacker-controlled data contains many less-than characters without a closing greater-than character. The synchronous parser converts and scans the full supplied buffer without an input cap, while the streaming parser reparses the complete accumulated SVG prefix for every received chunk. The probe.sync(), probe(stream), and probe(url) entry points can therefore block the Node.js event loop at full CPU, and attacker-controlled chunking can amplify the streaming cost. This issue is fixed in version 7.4.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103958 | 2026-10-02 | 7.6 High | ||
| Server-side request forgery in the tool server and remote agent connection handling in Loom for AWS before 1.7.0 might allow an authenticated remote user to obtain the credentials of the application's own container role and to read responses from arbitrary internal network locations, via a crafted connection address supplied when registering, updating or testing a tool server or remote agent. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.7.0 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86344 | 1 Redhat | 2 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a complete LDAP operation followed by the first bytes of an incomplete LDAPMessage on the same connection, causing the server to hand that connection to a second worker thread before the first worker's result is flushed. The second worker blocks until nsslapd-ioblocktimeout while holding the connection mutex, preventing delivery of the completed operation's result. Repeating this across a small number of connections proportional to the configured worker-thread pool size exhausts the entire pool under default configuration, denying service to all clients (anonymous and authenticated, plaintext and TLS) for as long as the attacker maintains the connections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104123 | 1 Sourcecodester | 1 Online Reviewer Management System | 2026-10-02 | 7.3 High |
| A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester Online Reviewer Management System 1.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /reviewer_0/admins/assessments/activities/btn_functions.php?action=activity. The manipulation of the argument Title results in sql injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104020 | 1 Amazon | 1 Ion-python | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| Uncontrolled recursion in the Ion reader in Amazon Ion Python before 0.15.0 might allow a remote unauthenticated actor to crash the application using the library, resulting in a denial of service, via a crafted, deeply nested Ion value. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.15.0 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103098 | 2 Geovision, Geovision Inc. | 2 Gv-eye, Gv-eye | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| Transmission of a sensitive key in the URL over an unencrypted HTTP connection. The request is sent over HTTP rather than HTTPS, meaning the key is transmitted in plaintext across the network. An attacker with the ability to monitor network traffic could intercept the request and obtain the key | ||||
| CVE-2026-104414 | 1 Ghost | 1 Ghost | 2026-10-02 | 8.1 High |
| Ghost from 2.5.0 before 6.64.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject untrusted scripts into post content via oEmbed photo responses. Attackers can host malicious oEmbed photo responses so that embedding their URL stores scripts that run in the Ghost editor, published site, and newsletter emails, compromising staff admin sessions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94418 | 1 Wolfssl | 1 Wolfssl | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| Under WOLFSSL_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, ProcessPeerCertParse() runs the certificate signature check separately from the parse to keep peak memory down, then merges the two results, but it merged the signature result back only when the parse returned 0, so any parse error hid it. ParseCertRelative() reaches its validity-date, name-constraint and critical-extension checks only after ConfirmSignature() has passed, so splitting the signature check out inverts the precedence that makes "override date errors" a sound policy, and ASN_SIG_CONFIRM_E is never surfaced anywhere. The attacker needs no key material from the real PKI and no CA compromise: a self-made certificate carrying the expected subject name, the trusted CA's subject as its issuer, arbitrary bytes where the signature goes, a validity window in the past and the attacker's own key pair is sufficient. Affected builds define WOLFSSL_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, which is off by default, is not set implicitly by any platform or preset header, and is not reachable from any CMake option; the autotools routes are --enable-lowresource, --enable-leantls, --enable-tinytls13=cert and --enable-tinytls13=mutualauth, and examples/configs/user_settings_embedded.h reaches it through WC_CFG_SMALL_CERT_VERIFY, which ships as 0, while neither --enable-all nor --enable-distro enables it at all. The application must additionally install a verify callback through wolfSSL_CTX_set_verify() or wolfSSL_set_verify() with WOLFSSL_VERIFY_PEER that returns 1 for ASN_BEFORE_DATE_E or ASN_AFTER_DATE_E; wolfSSL ships this exact shape as myVerify() in wolfssl/test.h under VERIFY_OVERRIDE_DATE_ERR, which examples/client -D selects. An application with no callback, or whose callback returns preverify for date errors, still fails the handshake, and wolfSSL_CertManagerVerifyBuffer() and wc_CheckCertSignature() report ASN_SIG_CONFIRM_E correctly in the same binary. TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 are affected in both directions, and DTLS reaches the same function; where the forged certificate is a chain certificate the callback's consent causes it to be cached in the WOLFSSL_CTX certificate manager, so an exposed deployment must restart the context or the process rather than merely reconnect. | ||||
