| CVE-2026-55859 | 2 Mariadb-corporation, Org.mariadb | 2 Mariadb-connector-r2dbc, R2dbc-mariadb | 2026-08-31 | 5.9 Medium |
| MariaDB Connector/R2DBC is a non-blocking MariaDB and MySQL client implemented in Java. Prior to 1.4.1, org.mariadb:r2dbc-mariadb encodes and decodes all character data under the assumption that the connection character set is UTF-8. A server can announce a mid-session change to character_set_client through the OK-packet session-state-tracking mechanism, including through SET NAMES executed by a stored routine or trigger, server configuration, or a hostile or man-in-the-middle server. If the new character set is not UTF-8, the driver continues to exchange UTF-8 while the server interprets the same bytes under a different encoding, causing silent data corruption and a client/server charset-confusion mismatch that can defeat byte-wise quoting or escaping. The fix accepts only utf8, utf8mb3, or utf8mb4 after initialization; any other value raises R2dbcNonTransientResourceException with SQLState 08000 and closes the connection. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55764 | 1 Klever-io | 1 Klever-go | 2026-08-31 | N/A |
| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.19, Klever-Go allows a mint-role holder to bypass a finite per-nonce MaxSupply on the semi-fungible token add-quantity path. In core/kapp/systemAccount/systemAcount.go, SFTAddCirculation performed meta.Circulation += amount before evaluating whether Circulation exceeded MaxSupply, without checking for signed int64 overflow. A large positive raw Amount supplied through processSemiFungibleAddQuantity in core/kapp/kda/mint.go can wrap Circulation negative, causing the signed maximum-supply comparison to pass and crediting approximately MaxInt64 units while corrupting the on-chain counter. The fungible path is not affected because its MintedValue <= 0 guard detects the overflow. The correction uses the consensus activation flag FixMarketBuyOverflow. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55520 | 1 Scrapy | 1 Protego | 2026-08-31 | 6.5 Medium |
| Protego is a pure-Python robots.txt parser with support for modern conventions. Prior to 0.6.2, protego._urlpattern._URLPattern._prepare_pattern_for_regex translates every asterisk in an Allow or Disallow directive into a lazy regular-expression wildcard, so a directive containing many asterisks creates exponential backtracking. After protego.Protego.parse processes a crafted robots.txt file, protego.Protego.can_fetch can spend an attacker-controlled period matching a near-miss URL and deny service to the crawler. The vulnerable path is src/protego/_urlpattern.py in the _URLPattern match logic. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54755 | 1 Klever-io | 1 Klever-go | 2026-08-31 | 9.6 Critical |
| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.19, split-royalty fields decoded in core/kapp/builtInFunctions/utils.go can contain values greater than core.HundredPercent, and core/kapp/kda/create.go and core/kapp/kda/trigger.go sum those values in uint32 accumulators. Crafted values such as two 0x80000000 entries wrap the validation sum to zero and pass CheckValid100Params. Royalty payout paths in core/kapp/accounts/accounts.go, core/kapp/market/market.go, and core/kapp/ito/ito.go then credit each oversized split amount and silently discard a negative remainder, allowing ordinary asset transfers, marketplace purchases, or ITO purchases to create unbacked KLV or other assets. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54754 | 1 Klever-io | 1 Klever-go | 2026-08-31 | 9.6 Critical |
| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.19, marketplace settlement in core/kapp/market/market.go reads MarketOrderData.ReferralPercentage from the listing while reading asset.Royalties.MarketPercentage live at purchase time. An asset owner can create a valid listing and then use AssetTrigger UpdateRoyalties to make the combined referral and royalty percentages exceed the bid. executeBuyMarket pays referral and royalty amounts unconditionally while computeMarketOwnerAmount silently skips a nonpositive seller remainder, allowing MarketBuy, BuyItNow, or auction Claim settlement to credit more KLV or sale currency than the buyer paid. This can create unbacked currency and corrupt token supply integrity. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.19. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54718 | 1 Silverstripe | 1 Silverstripe-advancedworkflow | 2026-08-31 | 7.2 High |
| Silverstripe Advanced Workflow is a highly configurable step-based workflow module. Prior to 6.4.5, 7.1.3, and 7.2.1, an attacker with permission to author the advanced workflow email template can place a specially crafted server-side template payload in NotifyUsersWorkflowAction.EmailTemplate. When NotifyUsersWorkflowAction renders the field through the Silverstripe template engine SSTemplateParser, the payload can cause PHP evaluation and arbitrary code execution on the server; the regression coverage is in tests/php/WorkflowEngineTest.php. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.5, 7.1.3, and 7.2.1. | ||||

| CVE-2026-58082 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-08-31 | 9.8 Critical |
| The ISO-2022 encoding module used a stack buffer sized to MB_LEN_MAX (6 bytes) for intermediate character output. Some ISO-2022 variants can require up to 10 bytes per character, in which case conversions can trigger a stack buffer overflow of up to four bytes. An application that uses iconv(3) to convert untrusted input to or from one of the affected encodings may be vulnerable to buffer overflows if it uses one of the affected encoding modules. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58081 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-08-31 | 9.8 Critical |
| Several encoding modules, including HZ, UTF-7, VIQR, and ZW, did not properly check the size of the caller-supplied output buffer before writing converted characters. An application that uses iconv(3) to convert untrusted input to or from one of the affected encodings may be vulnerable to buffer overflows if it uses one of the affected encoding modules. | ||||

| CVE-2026-82417 | 1 Ljharb | 1 Qs | 2026-08-31 | 5.3 Medium |
| ### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member. `utils.isBuffer` duck-types buffers by calling `obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)` after checking only that the property is truthy, so a value such as `{ constructor: { isBuffer: "x" } }` makes the call throw `TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function`. ### Details `lib/stringify.js:127` calls `utils.isBuffer` on every non-primitive value it serializes. `utils.isBuffer` (`lib/utils.js:332`) reads `obj.constructor.isBuffer` and invokes it without verifying that it is a function. `constructor` and `isBuffer` are ordinary property names, so any object carrying them as own properties reaches the unchecked call. Such an object can be built from untrusted input. `qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })` or `{ allowPrototypes: true }` keeps the `constructor` key as an own property (the default parse options drop it), and `JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")` produces the same shape with no qs option involved. Express 4 with its default `query parser` setting and body-parser with `extended: true` both call `qs.parse` with `allowPrototypes: true`, so on those stacks `req.query` and `req.body` can carry the shape directly. #### PoC ```js var qs = require("qs"); qs.stringify(qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })); qs.stringify(JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")); // TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function // at Object.isBuffer (lib/utils.js:332:78) // at stringify (lib/stringify.js:127:45) ``` #### Fix `lib/utils.js`, applied in e83d321 on `main` and released as v6.16.0: ```diff - return !!(obj.constructor && obj.constructor.isBuffer && obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)); + return !!(obj.constructor && typeof obj.constructor.isBuffer === "function" && obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)); ``` Real `Buffer`, `safer-buffer`, and browserify `buffer` polyfill instances serialize exactly as before; only the throw is removed. ### Affected versions `>=2.2.5 <6.16.0`, fixed in v6.16.0. The unguarded duck-type was introduced in 3768a75 and first shipped in v2.2.5 (September 2014). v2.2.4 and earlier used `Buffer.isBuffer` and are not affected. Every release from v2.2.5 through v6.15.3 contains the unguarded call. ### Impact An unauthenticated request can make any code path that re-serializes attacker-influenced data with `qs.stringify` (for example, rebuilding a query string from `req.query` for a redirect or an upstream request, or serializing a parsed JSON body) throw synchronously. In a typical Node.js HTTP framework the throw is caught by the framework error boundary and the affected request returns a 500; the process survives and other requests are unaffected. Where the call runs outside an error boundary, such as an `async` Express 4 handler (where the throw becomes an unhandled promise rejection) or a background job, the process exits, so the impact in that case depends on the application error handling rather than on qs. | ||||
