| CVE-2017-15191 | 2 Debian, Wireshark | 2 Debian Linux, Wireshark | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.1, 2.2.0 to 2.2.9, and 2.0.0 to 2.0.15, the DMP dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-dmp.c by validating a string length. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15099 | 3 Debian, Postgresql, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Postgresql, Rhel Software Collections | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| INSERT ... ON CONFLICT DO UPDATE commands in PostgreSQL 10.x before 10.1, 9.6.x before 9.6.6, and 9.5.x before 9.5.10 disclose table contents that the invoker lacks privilege to read. These exploits affect only tables where the attacker lacks full read access but has both INSERT and UPDATE privileges. Exploits bypass row level security policies and lack of SELECT privilege. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15041 | 3 Debian, Golang, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Go, Developer Tools and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| Go before 1.8.4 and 1.9.x before 1.9.1 allows "go get" remote command execution. Using custom domains, it is possible to arrange things so that example.com/pkg1 points to a Subversion repository but example.com/pkg1/pkg2 points to a Git repository. If the Subversion repository includes a Git checkout in its pkg2 directory and some other work is done to ensure the proper ordering of operations, "go get" can be tricked into reusing this Git checkout for the fetch of code from pkg2. If the Subversion repository's Git checkout has malicious commands in .git/hooks/, they will execute on the system running "go get." | ||||
| CVE-2017-14867 | 2 Debian, Git-scm | 2 Debian Linux, Git | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Git before 2.10.5, 2.11.x before 2.11.4, 2.12.x before 2.12.5, 2.13.x before 2.13.6, and 2.14.x before 2.14.2 uses unsafe Perl scripts to support subcommands such as cvsserver, which allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via shell metacharacters in a module name. The vulnerable code is reachable via git-shell even without CVS support. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14864 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Exiv2 | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Exiv2 | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| An Invalid memory address dereference was discovered in Exiv2::getULong in types.cpp in Exiv2 0.26. The vulnerability causes a segmentation fault and application crash, which leads to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14862 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Exiv2 | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Exiv2 | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| An Invalid memory address dereference was discovered in Exiv2::DataValue::read in value.cpp in Exiv2 0.26. The vulnerability causes a segmentation fault and application crash, which leads to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14737 | 2 Botan Project, Debian | 2 Botan, Debian Linux | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| A cryptographic cache-based side channel in the RSA implementation in Botan before 1.10.17, and 1.11.x and 2.x before 2.3.0, allows a local attacker to recover information about RSA secret keys, as demonstrated by CacheD. This occurs because an array is indexed with bits derived from a secret key. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14607 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In ImageMagick 7.0.7-4 Q16, an out of bounds read flaw related to ReadTIFFImage has been reported in coders/tiff.c. An attacker could possibly exploit this flaw to disclose potentially sensitive memory or cause an application crash. | ||||
| CVE-2015-1336 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Man-db Project | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Man-db | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The daily mandb cleanup job in Man-db before 2.7.6.1-1 as packaged in Ubuntu and Debian allows local users with access to the man account to gain privileges via vectors involving insecure chown use. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14604 | 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Nautilus, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| GNOME Nautilus before 3.23.90 allows attackers to spoof a file type by using the .desktop file extension, as demonstrated by an attack in which a .desktop file's Name field ends in .pdf but this file's Exec field launches a malicious "sh -c" command. In other words, Nautilus provides no UI indication that a file actually has the potentially unsafe .desktop extension; instead, the UI only shows the .pdf extension. One (slightly) mitigating factor is that an attack requires the .desktop file to have execute permission. The solution is to ask the user to confirm that the file is supposed to be treated as a .desktop file, and then remember the user's answer in the metadata::trusted field. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14504 | 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick | 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| ReadPNMImage in coders/pnm.c in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 does not ensure the correct number of colors for the XV 332 format, leading to a NULL Pointer Dereference. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14482 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Emacs, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| GNU Emacs before 25.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via email with crafted "Content-Type: text/enriched" data containing an x-display XML element that specifies execution of shell commands, related to an unsafe text/enriched extension in lisp/textmodes/enriched.el, and unsafe Gnus support for enriched and richtext inline MIME objects in lisp/gnus/mm-view.el. In particular, an Emacs user can be instantly compromised by reading a crafted email message (or Usenet news article). | ||||
| CVE-2017-14175 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| In coders/xbm.c in ImageMagick 7.0.6-1 Q16, a DoS in ReadXBMImage() due to lack of an EOF (End of File) check might cause huge CPU consumption. When a crafted XBM file, which claims large rows and columns fields in the header but does not contain sufficient backing data, is provided, the loop over the rows would consume huge CPU resources, since there is no EOF check inside the loop. | ||||
| CVE-2015-1854 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, 389 Directory Server, Fedora and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| 389 Directory Server before 1.3.3.10 allows attackers to bypass intended access restrictions and modify directory entries via a crafted ldapmodrdn call. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7668 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 16 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| The HTTP strict parsing changes added in Apache httpd 2.2.32 and 2.4.24 introduced a bug in token list parsing, which allows ap_find_token() to search past the end of its input string. By maliciously crafting a sequence of request headers, an attacker may be able to cause a segmentation fault, or to force ap_find_token() to return an incorrect value. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14174 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| In coders/psd.c in ImageMagick 7.0.7-0 Q16, a DoS in ReadPSDLayersInternal() due to lack of an EOF (End of File) check might cause huge CPU consumption. When a crafted PSD file, which claims a large "length" field in the header but does not contain sufficient backing data, is provided, the loop over "length" would consume huge CPU resources, since there is no EOF check inside the loop. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14173 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Imagemagick | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| In the function ReadTXTImage() in coders/txt.c in ImageMagick 7.0.6-10, an integer overflow might occur for the addition operation "GetQuantumRange(depth)+1" when "depth" is large, producing a smaller value than expected. As a result, an infinite loop would occur for a crafted TXT file that claims a very large "max_value" value. | ||||
