| CVE-2026-95512 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openjdk Els | 2026-10-02 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in FreeType, specifically within its CID font loader. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into opening content that embeds or references a specially crafted CID-keyed font. This crafted font can cause repeated allocations and decryptions of subroutine data across multiple font dictionaries, leading to excessive memory and CPU consumption. This can result in a denial of service (DoS) for the application or service processing the font, potentially causing it to hang or terminate. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79705 | 1 Redhat | 7 Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2026-10-02 | 4.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the buildah/copier Go package. When used outside of Buildah by a non-root caller, a crafted tar archive containing malicious symlinks can escape the target extraction directory and create files outside the intended destination. Buildah itself uses chroot hardening and is not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88265 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-10-02 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in crun. After pivot_root, reopening /dev/null for stdio can follow a symlink and attach a host file to container stdio, then change that file's ownership. Affected versions are crun 1.29.1 and earlier. Default configurations that mount a fresh /dev are not exposed. No fixed release is available yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84233 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird | 2026-10-02 | 7 High |
| A flaw was found in rpm. A local attacker could supply a specially crafted `.gem` filename containing RPM macro syntax. When a user or automated workflow invokes `rpmuncompress -x` on this file, the macro expansion occurs during command construction. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the invoking account, leading to a compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19617 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-10-02 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libdm. A local attacker could craft a malicious Logical Volume Manager (LVM) metadata configuration with deeply nested structures. This could lead to uncontrolled recursion in the libdm configuration file parser, exhausting the stack and causing any LVM command reading the metadata to crash. This vulnerability results in a Denial of Service (DoS) for affected systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63622 | 2 Libvirt, Redhat | 11 Libvirt, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 8 more | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libvirt. A local attacker, specifically a process running as the confined `swtpm` user, could exploit a symlink-following vulnerability in the `virFileChownFiles()` function. By planting a symbolic link within the `swtpm` state directory, the attacker could trick the root-level libvirt daemon into changing the ownership of an arbitrary file to the `swtpm` user. This allows for privilege escalation from the `swtpm` sandbox to root-level file ownership control. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18917 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux Nvidia and 7 more | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libvirt. An unprivileged local user could exploit an integer overflow vulnerability in the NodeGetFreePages RPC handler. This flaw allows crafted values to bypass a size check, leading to an undersized memory buffer. Subsequently, real NUMA node data can overwrite this buffer. This heap buffer overflow can corrupt the root libvirt daemon's memory, potentially leading to a denial of service or local privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1635 | 2 Netapp, Redhat | 26 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Amq Streams and 23 more | 2026-10-02 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability was found in Undertow. This vulnerability impacts a server that supports the wildfly-http-client protocol. Whenever a malicious user opens and closes a connection with the HTTP port of the server and then closes the connection immediately, the server will end with both memory and open file limits exhausted at some point, depending on the amount of memory available. At HTTP upgrade to remoting, the WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit leaks connections if RemotingConnection is closed by Remoting ServerConnectionOpenListener. Because the remoting connection originates in Undertow as part of the HTTP upgrade, there is an external layer to the remoting connection. This connection is unaware of the outermost layer when closing the connection during the connection opening procedure. Hence, the Undertow WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit is not notified of the closed connection in this scenario. Because WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit creates a timeout task, the whole dependency tree leaks via that task, which is added to XNIO WorkerThread. So, the workerThread points to the Undertow conduit, which contains the connections and causes the leak. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5419 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 13 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 10 more | 2026-10-02 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. The PKCS#7 padding check, performed during decryption, was not constant-time. This timing side-channel could allow a remote attacker to potentially leak sensitive information about the padding bytes through observable timing differences. This vulnerability is a form of information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6170 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 14 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 11 more | 2026-10-02 | 2.5 Low |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102010 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 6 Gcc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-02 | 7 High |
| A flaw was found in GCC. When an application calls the erase_if function on a binary heap priority queue in libstdc++, the library reallocates storage but fails to update its internal entry pointer. An attacker capable of triggering this operation can exploit this use-after-free condition, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) via an application crash or potential memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48864 | 2 Opensuse, Redhat | 23 Libsolv, Cert Manager, Discovery and 20 more | 2026-10-02 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow occurs during the decompression of attacker-controlled compressed data within `.solv` files due to insufficient input validation. An attacker can provide a specially crafted `.solv` file, which, when processed by a vulnerable application, can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. This could result in information disclosure, alteration of program execution, or a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42015 | 1 Redhat | 16 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 13 more | 2026-10-02 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. An off-by-one error exists in the PKCS#12 bag element bounds check. This vulnerability allows an remote attacker to write past the internal array of a PKCS#12 bag when appending to a bag that already contains 32 elements. This memory corruption could lead to a denial of service (DoS) or potentially other unspecified impacts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42014 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more | 2026-10-02 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GnuTLS. The `gnutls_pkcs11_token_set_pin` function, used for changing the Security Officer PIN, can lead to a use-after-free vulnerability. This occurs when an attacker attempts to change the PIN with a NULL old PIN for a token that lacks a protected authentication path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42013 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more | 2026-10-02 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. When validating certificates, an oversized Subject Alternative Name (SAN) could cause the validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking the Common Name (CN) field. This could allow a remote attacker to bypass proper certificate validation, potentially leading to spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42012 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more | 2026-10-02 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted certificate that contains Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or Service (SRV) Subject Alternative Names (SANs). This could cause the certificate validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking DNS hostnames against the Common Name (CN), potentially allowing the attacker to spoof legitimate services or intercept sensitive information. | ||||
