| CVE-2026-5946 | 2 Isc, Redhat | 3 Bind, Bind 9, Hummingbird | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| Multiple flaws have been identified in `named` related to the handling of DNS messages whose CLASS is not Internet (`IN`) — for example, `CHAOS` or `HESIOD`, or DNS messages that specify meta-classes (`ANY` or `NONE`) in the question section. Specially crafted requests reaching the affected code paths — recursion, dynamic updates (`UPDATE`), zone change notifications (`NOTIFY`), or processing of `IN`-specific record types in non-`IN` data — can cause assertion failures in `named`. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53000 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-17 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nat: use kfree_rcu to release ops Florian Westphal says: "Historically this is not an issue, even for normal base hooks: the data path doesn't use the original nf_hook_ops that are used to register the callbacks. However, in v5.14 I added the ability to dump the active netfilter hooks from userspace. This code will peek back into the nf_hook_ops that are available at the tail of the pointer-array blob used by the datapath. The nat hooks are special, because they are called indirectly from the central nat dispatcher hook. They are currently invisible to the nfnl hook dump subsystem though. But once that changes the nat ops structures have to be deferred too." Update nf_nat_register_fn() to deal with partial exposition of the hooks from error path which can be also an issue for nfnetlink_hook. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42499 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Net\/mail, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| Pathological inputs could cause DoS through consumePhrase when parsing an email address according to RFC 5322. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3039 | 2 Isc, Redhat | 2 Bind, Hummingbird | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| BIND servers that are configured to use TKEY-based authentication via GSS-API tokens are vulnerable to excessive memory consumption when receiving and processing maliciously-constructed packets. Typically these servers will be found in Active Directory integrated DNS deployments and/or Kerberos-secured DNS environments. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.0.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39820 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Net/mail, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| Well-crafted inputs reaching ParseAddress, ParseAddressList, and ParseDate were able to trigger excessive CPU exhaustion and memory allocations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-34986 | 2 Go-jose, Go-jose Project | 2 Go-jose, Go-jose | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| Go JOSE provides an implementation of the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption set of standards in Go, including support for JSON Web Encryption (JWE), JSON Web Signature (JWS), and JSON Web Token (JWT) standards. Prior to 4.1.4 and 3.0.5, decrypting a JSON Web Encryption (JWE) object will panic if the alg field indicates a key wrapping algorithm (one ending in KW, with the exception of A128GCMKW, A192GCMKW, and A256GCMKW) and the encrypted_key field is empty. The panic happens when cipher.KeyUnwrap() in key_wrap.go attempts to allocate a slice with a zero or negative length based on the length of the encrypted_key. This code path is reachable from ParseEncrypted() / ParseEncryptedJSON() / ParseEncryptedCompact() followed by Decrypt() on the resulting object. Note that the parse functions take a list of accepted key algorithms. If the accepted key algorithms do not include any key wrapping algorithms, parsing will fail and the application will be unaffected. This panic is also reachable by calling cipher.KeyUnwrap() directly with any ciphertext parameter less than 16 bytes long, but calling this function directly is less common. Panics can lead to denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.4 and 3.0.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33810 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Crypto/x509, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| When verifying a certificate chain containing excluded DNS constraints, these constraints are not correctly applied to wildcard DNS SANs which use a different case than the constraint. This only affects validation of otherwise trusted certificate chains, issued by a root CA in the VerifyOptions.Roots CertPool, or in the system certificate pool. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32283 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Crypto Tls, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| If one side of the TLS connection sends multiple key update messages post-handshake in a single record, the connection can deadlock, causing uncontrolled consumption of resources. This can lead to a denial of service. This only affects TLS 1.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32280 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Crypto/x509, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| During chain building, the amount of work that is done is not correctly limited when a large number of intermediate certificates are passed in VerifyOptions.Intermediates, which can lead to a denial of service. This affects both direct users of crypto/x509 and users of crypto/tls. | ||||
| CVE-2026-25679 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Net/url, Go | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| url.Parse insufficiently validated the host/authority component and accepted some invalid URLs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-1519 | 1 Isc | 1 Bind | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| If a BIND resolver is performing DNSSEC validation and encounters a maliciously crafted zone, the resolver may consume excessive CPU. Authoritative-only servers are generally unaffected, although there are circumstances where authoritative servers may make recursive queries (see: https://kb.isc.org/docs/why-does-my-authoritative-server-make-recursive-queries). This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.46, 9.20.0 through 9.20.20, 9.21.0 through 9.21.19, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.46-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.20-S1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68887 | 1 Microsoft | 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Message Queuing Queue Manager allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76820 | 1 Opencti-platform | 1 Opencti | 2026-09-17 | 7.7 High |
| OpenCTI is an open source platform for managing cyber threat intelligence knowledge and observables. Prior to 7.260701.0, the synchronizerFetch GraphQL query called fetchRemoteStreams after checking only that a remote stream URL used HTTP or HTTPS. The backend did not apply the ingestion deny list or reject private, loopback, and link-local destinations, allowing an authenticated account with the INGESTION capability to make OpenCTI request internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. Returned connection errors could distinguish open HTTP ports, open non-HTTP ports, and closed ports, enabling internal network scanning, while compatible endpoint responses could disclose internal data. This issue is fixed in version 7.260701.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88064 | 1 Backstage | 1 Backstage | 2026-09-17 | 8.8 High |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and from 1.15.0 until 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package insufficiently validates mkdocs.yml supplied by an authenticated user who can register or modify a TechDocs source. Unsafe Python YAML tags, markdown_extensions names and configuration, theme options, and extra_templates values can reach the documentation generator and cause unintended code execution. The resulting impact is limited to the files, credentials, network access, and other resources available to the TechDocs backend or build container. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. | ||||
