CVE-2026-110929 1 Openssh 1 Openssh 2026-10-17 8.1 High
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. On platforms that cannot pass file descriptors and that need root to allocate a terminal, the post-authentication session process keeps root privilege. An authenticated user can then perform actions as root, including privileged socket connections and binding forwards to low-numbered ports.
CVE-2026-96223 1 Microsoft 10 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 7 more 2026-10-17 7.8 High
Use after free in Windows Hyper-V allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-111157 1 Sox 1 Sox 2026-10-17 6.1 Medium
SoX through 14.4.2 contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in lsx_ms_adpcm_block_expand_i() in src/adpcm.c, triggered by an odd samplesPerBlock value in the WAV fmt chunk. Attackers can supply a crafted MS ADPCM WAV file to sox or any libsox consumer to write a partially controlled 16-bit sample past the heap buffer allocated by wav_ms_adpcm_fmt().
CVE-2026-96219 1 Microsoft 20 Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2, Windows 10 21h2 and 17 more 2026-10-17 9.8 Critical

CVE-2026-110859 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project 2 Gitpython, Gitpython 2026-10-17 7.5 High
GitPython before 3.2.0 contains an argument injection vulnerability in Head.checkout() that allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying a branch name parsed as a git option. Attackers can host a repository whose default branch is named --pathspec-from-file=<path>, causing cloning applications that check out the active branch to leak file contents through GitCommandError messages.
CVE-2026-96304 1 Microsoft 17 Windows 10 21h2, Windows 10 21h2, Windows 10 22h2 and 14 more 2026-10-17 7 High
Use after free in Windows USB Print Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-110928 1 Openssh 1 Openssh 2026-10-17 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. The authorized_keys "restrict" keyword was not applied to tunnel forwarding. When PermitTunnel is enabled, a restricted key can still open a tunnel.
CVE-2026-88096 1 Microsoft 28 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 25 more 2026-10-17 7 High
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows DCOM Server allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-110456 1 Ubiquiti 1 Unifi Protect Ai Key 2026-10-17 5.3 Medium
A malicious actor with access to the network and under certain conditions could exploit an Improper Access Control vulnerability found in UniFi Protect AI Key to access internal resources through the device.
CVE-2026-110458 1 Ubiquiti 1 Unifi Protect Ai Key 2026-10-17 3.7 Low
A malicious actor with access to the network and under certain conditions could exploit a Path Traversal vulnerability found in UniFi Protect AI Key to create or truncate files on the device.
CVE-2026-110854 2 Parse Community, Parseplatform 2 Parse Server, Parse-server 2026-10-17 N/A
Parse Server before 8.6.97 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.2-alpha.6 does not handle errors raised while sending verification or password reset emails, causing the server process to exit. A client holding only the public application keys can sign up, request a verification email, or request a password reset while the mail provider rejects, rate limits, or is unavailable, crashing the server.
CVE-2026-110857 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project 2 Gitpython, Gitpython 2026-10-17 7.5 High
GitPython before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to run commands because Git.ls_remote forwards URLs without check_unsafe_protocols validation. Attackers can supply ext:: remote-helper URLs to execute commands when git permits the ext transport, while merge_base and IndexFile.move also accept unguarded option injection.
CVE-2026-110858 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project 2 Gitpython, Gitpython 2026-10-17 8.1 High
GitPython from 3.1.30 before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in Remote.pull() whose unsafe-option guard inspects only keyword arguments, not the positional refspec. Attackers controlling the refspec can supply --upload-pack=<command> to execute OS commands as the calling process over local-path or SSH transports.
CVE-2026-35073 1 Dell 2 Data Domain Operating System, Powerprotect Data Domain 2026-10-17 6.7 Medium
Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.6.0.0 and version 8.7.0.0, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.20, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.60 contain an improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command injection vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary command execution with root privileges.
CVE-2026-96244 1 Microsoft 23 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 20 more 2026-10-17 7.8 High

CVE-2026-110642 1 Xhtml2pdf 1 Xhtml2pdf 2026-10-17 7.8 High
xhtml2pdf before 0.2.19 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in pisa.startViewer() that allows attackers to execute commands by interpolating unescaped file names into os.system. Attackers can supply an input file whose name contains a double quote and shell metacharacters, which runs OS commands as the invoking user when the pisa tool is used with -s/--start-viewer.
CVE-2026-110816 1 Ljharb 1 Qs 2026-10-17 5.3 Medium
### Summary `qs.stringify` with `arrayFormat: 'comma'` throws `TypeError: Cannot convert object to primitive value` when an array element cannot be coerced to a string, such as an object with an own non-callable `toString` (`{ "toString": "x" }`) or a null-prototype object. The comma format joins array elements with `Array.prototype.join` and, under `encodeValuesOnly`, first passes each element through `String()` in `utils.encode`; neither guards against an element whose string coercion fails. ### Details In `lib/stringify.js`, the comma branch collapses the array with `obj.join(',')`. For an element whose own `toString` is not callable, `ToPrimitive` skips it, falls through to `Object.prototype.valueOf` (which returns the object itself), and throws. Under `encodeValuesOnly: true`, the same element first reaches `String(str)` in `utils.encode` (`lib/utils.js`) and throws there. Nested arrays (`{ "a": [[{ "toString": "x" }]] }`) throw the same way, through `Array.prototype.toString`. The `indices`, `brackets`, and `repeat` formats walk into object elements instead of coercing them, and are not affected. Such elements can come from untrusted input. `JSON.parse` produces `{ "a": [{ "toString": "x" }] }` with no qs option involved. `qs.parse("a[0][toString]=x", { allowPrototypes: true })` keeps the `toString` key, and `qs.parse("a[][b]=c", { plainObjects: true })` produces a null-prototype element; the default parse options drop `toString` and produce ordinary objects, which do not throw. Express 4's default `query parser`, Express 5's `extended` query parser, and body-parser's `urlencoded({ extended: true })` all call `qs.parse` with `allowPrototypes: true`. #### PoC ```js var qs = require("qs"); qs.stringify(JSON.parse("{\"a\":[{\"toString\":\"x\"}]}"), { arrayFormat: "comma" }); qs.stringify(qs.parse("a[0][toString]=x", { allowPrototypes: true }), { arrayFormat: "comma" }); qs.stringify(qs.parse("a[][b]=c", { plainObjects: true }), { arrayFormat: "comma", encodeValuesOnly: true }); // TypeError: Cannot convert object to primitive value ``` #### Fix Applied in a952e75 on `main` and released as v6.16.1: an element whose string coercion would fail is coerced to its primitive `valueOf`, if any, or else to `Object.prototype.toString`, so it renders as `[object Object]`, the same as any other object element already does under the comma format. Nested arrays are walked the way `join` walks them. Every input that did not previously throw serializes exactly as before, and a `toString` or `valueOf` that itself throws still propagates. ### Affected versions `>=6.7.0 <6.16.1`, fixed in v6.16.1. The `join` path was introduced with the comma format in b84acba and first shipped in v6.7.0; v6.6.x and earlier ignore `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and are not affected. The `encodeValuesOnly` `String()` site was introduced in 4c4b23d (v6.11.1); before that, the same input throws at `join`. Every release from v6.7.0 through v6.16.0 is affected. ### Impact An unauthenticated request can make any code path that re-serializes attacker-influenced data with `qs.stringify` and `arrayFormat: 'comma'` (for example, rebuilding a query string from `req.query` for a redirect or an upstream request, or serializing a parsed JSON body) throw synchronously. In a typical Node.js HTTP framework the throw is caught by the framework error boundary and the affected request returns a 500; the process survives and other requests are unaffected. Where the call runs outside an error boundary, such as an `async` Express 4 handler (where the throw becomes an unhandled promise rejection) or a bare `http` request handler, the process exits, so the impact in that case depends on the application error handling rather than on qs. The default `arrayFormat` (`indices`) is not affected.
