CVE-2022-50873 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vdpa/vp_vdpa: fix kfree a wrong pointer in vp_vdpa_remove In vp_vdpa_remove(), the code kfree(&vp_vdpa_mgtdev->mgtdev.id_table) uses a reference of pointer as the argument of kfree, which is the wrong pointer and then may hit crash like this: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 00ffff003363e30c Internal error: Oops: 96000004 [#1] SMP Call trace: rb_next+0x20/0x5c ext4_readdir+0x494/0x5c4 [ext4] iterate_dir+0x168/0x1b4 __se_sys_getdents64+0x68/0x170 __arm64_sys_getdents64+0x24/0x30 el0_svc_common.constprop.0+0x7c/0x1bc do_el0_svc+0x2c/0x94 el0_svc+0x20/0x30 el0_sync_handler+0xb0/0xb4 el0_sync+0x160/0x180 Code: 54000220 f9400441 b4000161 aa0103e0 (f9400821) SMP: stopping secondary CPUs Starting crashdump kernel...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: OMAP2+: Fix memory leak in realtime_counter_init() The "sys_clk" resource is malloced by clk_get(), it is not released when the function return.
CVE-2022-50870 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/rtas: avoid device tree lookups in rtas_os_term() rtas_os_term() is called during panic. Its behavior depends on a couple of conditions in the /rtas node of the device tree, the traversal of which entails locking and local IRQ state changes. If the kernel panics while devtree_lock is held, rtas_os_term() as currently written could hang. Instead of discovering the relevant characteristics at panic time, cache them in file-static variables at boot. Note the lookup for "ibm,extended-os-term" is converted to of_property_read_bool() since it is a boolean property, not an RTAS function token. [mpe: Incorporate suggested change from Nick]
CVE-2021-47744 2 Cypress, Linux 3 Ctm-200, Ctm-one, Linux 2026-04-15 7.5 High
Cypress Solutions CTM-200/CTM-ONE 1.3.6 contains hard-coded credentials vulnerability in Linux distribution that exposes root access. Attackers can exploit the static 'Chameleon' password to gain remote root access via Telnet or SSH on affected devices.
CVE-2022-50859 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix the error length of VALIDATE_NEGOTIATE_INFO message Commit d5c7076b772a ("smb3: add smb3.1.1 to default dialect list") extend the dialects from 3 to 4, but forget to decrease the extended length when specific the dialect, then the message length is larger than expected. This maybe leak some info through network because not initialize the message body. After apply this patch, the VALIDATE_NEGOTIATE_INFO message length is reduced from 28 bytes to 26 bytes.
CVE-2022-50858 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: alcor: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and calling mmc_free_host() in the error path.
CVE-2022-50857 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rapidio: rio: fix possible name leak in rio_register_mport() If device_register() returns error, the name allocated by dev_set_name() need be freed. It should use put_device() to give up the reference in the error path, so that the name can be freed in kobject_cleanup(), and list_del() is called to delete the port from rio_mports.
CVE-2022-50856 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix xid leak in cifs_ses_add_channel() Before return, should free the xid, otherwise, the xid will be leaked.
CVE-2022-50855 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: prevent leak of lsm program after failed attach In [0], we added the ability to bpf_prog_attach LSM programs to cgroups, but in our validation to make sure the prog is meant to be attached to BPF_LSM_CGROUP, we return too early if the check fails. This results in lack of decrementing prog's refcnt (through bpf_prog_put) leaving the LSM program alive past the point of the expected lifecycle. This fix allows for the decrement to take place. Pstore's ram backend reuses those reserved pages to change the memory type (writeback or non-cached) by passing the pages to vmap() (see pfn_to_page() usage in persistent_ram_vmap() for more details) with specific flags. When read_kcore() starts iterating over the vmalloc region, it runs over the virtual address that vmap() returned for ramoops. In aligned_vread() the virtual address is passed to vmalloc_to_page() which returns the page struct for the reserved lowmem area. That lowmem page is passed to kmap_atomic(), which effectively calls page_to_virt() that assumes a lowmem page struct must be directly accessible with __va() and friends. These pages are mapped via vmap() though, and the lowmem mapping was never made, so accessing them via the lowmem virtual address oopses like above. Let's side-step this problem by passing VM_IOREMAP to vmap(). This will tell vread() to not include the ramoops region in the kcore. Instead the area will look like a bunch of zeros. The alternative is to teach kmap() about vmalloc areas that intersect with lowmem. Presumably such a change isn't a one-liner, and there isn't much interest in inspecting the ramoops region in kcore files anyway, so the most expedient route is taken for now.
CVE-2022-50848 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A

CVE-2022-50839 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jbd2: fix potential buffer head reference count leak As in 'jbd2_fc_wait_bufs' if buffer isn't uptodate, will return -EIO without update 'journal->j_fc_off'. But 'jbd2_fc_release_bufs' will release buffer head from ‘j_fc_off - 1’ if 'bh' is NULL will terminal release which will lead to buffer head buffer head reference count leak. To solve above issue, update 'journal->j_fc_off' before return -EIO.
CVE-2022-50838 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stream: purge sk_error_queue in sk_stream_kill_queues() Changheon Lee reported TCP socket leaks, with a nice repro. It seems we leak TCP sockets with the following sequence: 1) SOF_TIMESTAMPING_TX_ACK is enabled on the socket. Each ACK will cook an skb put in error queue, from __skb_tstamp_tx(). __skb_tstamp_tx() is using skb_clone(), unless SOF_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_TSONLY was also requested. 2) If the application is also using MSG_ZEROCOPY, then we put in the error queue cloned skbs that had a struct ubuf_info attached to them. Whenever an struct ubuf_info is allocated, sock_zerocopy_alloc() does a sock_hold(). As long as the cloned skbs are still in sk_error_queue, socket refcount is kept elevated. 3) Application closes the socket, while error queue is not empty. Since tcp_close() no longer purges the socket error queue, we might end up with a TCP socket with at least one skb in error queue keeping the socket alive forever. This bug can be (ab)used to consume all kernel memory and freeze the host. We need to purge the error queue, with proper synchronization against concurrent writers.
